Of course, China's Northern Theater's navy and air force can launch attacks on Japan and South Korea.

The Eastern Theater is responsible for the Taiwan Strait, and the Southern Theater is responsible for the South China Sea.

The three theaters have more than 150 destroyers and frigates and 1,500 fighter jets.

China's J-20 has cruised the waters of Taiwan many times. The J-20 was not found in the report of the Taiwan Ministry of Defense, and the Taiwan military radar cannot detect the J-20.

I find it hard to believe that any European, British, Turkish, or Canadian "ally" of the United States would be willing to send their sons to fight for American interests against China in Taiwan. If you think any of them will intervene, you might be in for a shock.

South Korea is unlikely to provide support for obvious reasons, and Japan's involvement will likely be minimal at best.

This is fundamentally your battle.

The only country that might offer significant help is Australia, primarily due to its concerns about Chinese influence. Other than perhaps the Aussies, no one is willing to sacrifice their young sons lives to uphold American dominance; that era has long passed. Thank you, Trump!

US especially Trump and GOP Congress would not let PRC to capture Taiwan IC industry, because China already dominated Rare Earth industry as 90% of REM come from China, if the Chinese also dominate the IC industry, China can use both to put the world in place, and that's ball game for the US and the West, because nobody in this world can live without the little chip in your computer and your phone. I can live without oil if I don't drive and use nuclear power, but you can't live without IC in your life, which make IC worth more than oil, which make US or just about anyone else will sacrifice their son trying to protect it, and that is the reason why Taiwan refused to move their IC production base since late 2000 and early 2010 when China become an obvious threat to them, because if they move the IC production line to the US or Israel (Which was talked about over hundred time) you may as well move the entire Taiwan to the US and Israel and let China recover it.

It's actually 210 (Up to 400 from some source) 66 is the new airframe, designated F-21, they have another deal to patch all 140 Taiwanese F-16 to Viper Block 72 level (Which is slightly behind F-21)

Taiwan's semiconductors are just OEM products, and the equipment and raw materials are all from abroad. Taiwan only provides the factory buildings and labor. It is not difficult for Taiwan's semiconductors to be copied.
