There is something called terrain hugging capability in cruise missiles.
May not work against Americans but great force against regional deterrence.

Completely agreed. Moreover the second and third Fateh are delayed at a unacceptable time and nothing new about Besat, to start thinking in a nuclear submarine.
The only logical step (and Emirzad pointed It good) It is finishing those two Fateh. Those vessels would put US Navy more nervous than anything else.

I’m assuming besat submarine is almost in completion I remember a couple of years ago they said 1 to 2 years it would be done so let say if no or even little delay 2025 to 2026 the latest. I actually like fate’s submarines but not going to lie I thought ghadir submarines were a lot better fit to take on ships smaller they can lay in wait in shallow depths I always wondered why we haven’t seen many more of them in production North Korea still has dozens upon dozens of these types of submarines even the South Koreans have had trouble detecting them

Yeah I remember some where close to 20 but a coast that vast is 20 or 30 really enough i know they are moving on to fates size and besat but the ghadir for its size can be laid out in packs spread out in several miles to hunt down larger less maneuverable ships

Did all three kilos submarines ever go into a modernation/upgrade? I know Iran was doing some of its own work on them, but it would be a valuable project to get the Russian's assistance in upgrading them. They are our best submarines.
