Indeed. This impression is from a Think Tank and misleading. The US Navy has a large stockpile of SM-2 class interceptors which are not used on a daily basis because Houthis cannot attack American warships on a daily basis but when they find the opportunity to do so. Houthis are also suffering losses in war and there might be a shift in their policy in coming days. SM-2 class interceptors are not in mass production but SM-6 class and PAC-3 MSE interceptors are in mass production and US Navy can replace SM-2 class interceptors with PAC-3 MSE interceptors if necessary.

Funny how the only groups who have taken up arms in defence of Palestinians have been the Shia with the exception of a hand full of brave Sunnis individuals from Egypt and Jordan.
