THINK TANK: CONSULTANT
Indeed. This impression is from a Think Tank and misleading. The US Navy has a large stockpile of SM-2 class interceptors which are not used on a daily basis because Houthis cannot attack American warships on a daily basis but when they find the opportunity to do so. Houthis are also suffering losses in war and there might be a shift in their policy in coming days. SM-2 class interceptors are not in mass production but SM-6 class and PAC-3 MSE interceptors are in mass production and US Navy can replace SM-2 class interceptors with PAC-3 MSE interceptors if necessary.I seriously doubt that.
If the US is so vulnerable to supply shortages, then they should give up the superpower role and take up knitting.
