This can look stupid but for Iran it is seen as something symbolic to not talk directly to them after what they did to Iran those past decades

Pretty "moderate" words from such infamous anti-Iranian hawk and evangelical judeo-christian extremist... Zionists media confirmed that statement... usa administration will not insist on stopping Iranian nuclear program... he is from hard-core Jewish lobby consumers... it's obvious that Jewish msm are bit disappointed by new WH, and they were so excited about it...

The situation is pretty serious. I doubt they would nuke Iran but a military attack on our infrastructure is almost a given unless we want to believe that Trump is a pacifist who doesn't like war, which is ridiculous if you ask me, or the Islamic Republic wises up and builds some actual deterrence power (i.e. strategic nukes) instead of fairy tales about super duper weapons for her gullible followers.

The Trump administration does have some anti-war people in it. But there is no guarantee that Trump would listen to them, or even the next US president would follow his footsteps.

I think a highly likely scenario at this point is that the IR will sign a deal with the US. The US will most likely remove some sanctions on Iran and the Islamic Republic will send our enriched uranium abroad to Russia (being the Russian vassals they are). At that point, there is no guarantee that the US will not attack Iran directly, or indirectly through Israel. The later is highly likely. The US will be able to say that they didn't violate the deal but they couldn't stop Israel.

Strange things are happening in Iran. Pezeshkian is also our strangest president so far. Even more so than Ahmadinejad. And Zarif has screwed Iran so bad that we have literally no option but to extend the JCPOA in one way or another or prepare for the worst scenario.

Iran's case was in the UNSC and Russia and China supported UNSC resolutions and sanctions against Iran back then

his words are completely ignorant and a total non-starter for negotiations, far from being moderate they are designed to destroy the negotiations because zero enrichment is a red line

Yes. The whole system from Khamenei to Zarif are responsible for the JCPOA, but the snapback mechanism is a level of treason that is beyond comprehension.

Zarif tried to sell this treaty of capitulation as the greatest victory of Iran in modern history. It's despicable. He did say a lot of treasonous things as the FM. "The US can disable all of our defenses with one bomb", "John Kerry's signature is the guarantee of the JCPOA", only to name a few.

You are right. I had a different map on my mind that showed Iran's AD coverage. Nevertheless, even in this map, you can clearly see that the density of radar coverage in the East is much less, which make sense because most of our vital infrastructure and potential threats are from the West, but still.

there are fewer advanced threats from the east but the east is completely covered by multiple OTH radars too

we have a very large number of radars but AD systems are relatively weak and few in number considering the size of iran

Sure, our OTH coverage can go as far as 3,000 km but it's only good for early warning.

We are vulnerable in the East. Again, for this particular issue, I'm not blaming anyone because we definitely have more important infrastructure in the West and more enemies in that direction. But OTH radars are not going to enable us to lock on or shoot down a threat from the East.
 
Almost all anti-war guys get fired from USA Defense ministry and Zions wants to replace current Denence minister with pro war one as well ...
