10 km to be precise. My concern was why use such expensive aircrafts when you can achieve it by just artilary..
separate topic to this terrible terrorist attack:

as a neutral Iranian observer, the 2019 skirmish (initiated by India) went much better for Pakistan than India, who had to lie and cover up the failures (hitting empty sites, downing own helicopter, imaginary F-16 shoot down, etc)

India should act with prudence rather than risking escalation. are there not individuals in India controlled Kashmir who oppose Indian control, and would oppose this without Pakistani support? I hope India doesn't overreact and do something dangerous

China doesn't owe anything to Pakistan after the previous and current head duffers idiotic attempt to suck Americans off

Didn't say they did, they will think of their own concerns which tie in.
Regardless, the people didn't rise up and seem to be content with what is happening. No point us talking about who is an idiot and who isn't.

The thing is, you never achieve anything with your short lived temper.

What will happen now? Probably you will retaliate in some shape or form. Pakistan will reply in kind. That will be the end.

What is it exactly that you will have achieved?

So, sending 75 years old birds to counter PAF invasion is foolishness of the IAF or shooting it down a mistake of PAF?
Invasion is wrong word to be used here.. They bearly cross loc..

I think I already have replay
MIG are still capable aircrafts but fact is they are still 75 years 2nd gen aircrafts..

There must be a way forward for both countries? Pakistan has not done much to improve its international prestige either.

What is so one-sided and foolish in my posts? I was probably too busy to address your rants. Do you have any predictive assessment for a conflict situation that was spot on years in advance? Mine was. Do not abuse reaction system kindly.
There is no abuse of reaction system, Its my choice to laugh at your posts and it doesn't break any PDF rule, so I will laugh at any posts I feel are foolish, you don't want like people laughing at your posts then stop positing, I don't mind if anyone laugh at my post.

as for way forward for India/Pakistan with current Indian/Pakistan setup, and how radicalized Indian public is there is no amount of things Pakistan can do to satisfy Indians, you can do whatever they want and it will take one incident and you will be back to starting point, without any evidence or prove they will just blame you, make some loud noises and western countries will condemn because of India been the bigger market for their businessmen/companies.
Both countries have/are/will be using insurgents to harm civilians, but unfortunately our "Neutral Mods" here are often post one sided narrative to please the few Indians.

You think their decision will hold?

I don't think this was done in haste. They have been preparing for this since years now, all the way from 2015 I beleive.

But would be interesting how Pakistan responds. Don't think Pakistan is in any mood to escalate this.
Ending the ivt suggests a point of no return sort of plan

As does pining for Pakistan to have no water....I mean even if thsts your intention do you literally just say it....

Well these day's you can , Muslim nations have utterly been overwhelmed , no voice no justice, picked off one by one

It's a psychiatric disorder called SMD

when did you become such a pacifist? It wasnt too long ago how you were telling us the number of warheads Pakistans has to double tap every target of significance.
He got influenced by Oprah Winfrey and is now morphing Into Barbie.

Targets were selected carefully. I don't know why only 10km inside Indian occupied J&K.

However, the skirmish was certainly longer than 10 or 20 minutes. PAF made sure to gain the control of the skies after one MKI was hit and another Mig was downed inside Azad Kashmir. Rest of the IAF then disappeared leaving the skies at the mercy of PAF.

I am sure had the goal been set to get 50km in, PAF would have done that. In fact, IAF never came close to the LoC for many days after receiving the 19th of Feb beating.

India doesn't have anything build to stop flow of water or divert water from 3 western rivers. The dams are all run of the rivers with minimum storage capacity.

If India is serious about diverting water away from Pakistan then I don't see how this doesn't lead to war no matter how coward Asim Munir and co are according to some here.

Where is the Iranian lobby in pdf?
some religious Iranians care about Kashmir and what is happening there

but most Iranians don't care about Pakistan vs India conflict at all, we have our own problems to worry about
