I think Politics is too complicated, Mushy did come close to a solution but why stuck in past when its not going to change anything in future? Pakistan will always remain on a tight spot for international community, even if we remove every last terrorists from Pakistan tomorrow world will not change their opinion over night, we need a Powerful ally like America or Israel, which is not going to happen unless Pakistan is needed for something in future, but even than Kashmir won't be solved like this.
India is a big consumer market, 1.3ish Billion people, massive diaspora live outside India and have major influence, and now we see more and more Indian Origin people in US govt, so we have made major blunders in past, and I have full confidence that we will do more in future, but if we allow to be Bullied by Indians than it won't stop at Uri or Balakot or cross border attacks.
Lets see what evidence Indian provide this time, or any at all. But I will say that Pakistan has to prepare itself for any eventuality regardless or who stand with you and who dont.

India is large and also a democracy. Other democratic countries are likely to gravitate towards India due to its merits and outlook. Indian diaspora is also doing a better job in many countries.

How can WE bring India to the negotiation table to solve all issues with it? This is possible by having leverage. Pakistan needs to create a society that many countries will come to respect and find conducive for investment so that Pakistan can grow, improve its international standing, and create leverage.

But Pakistan has political instability, corruption and lacking in consensus on various issues - these problems collectively lead to mismanagement of projects and mismatch in foreign commitments.

Pakistan was also founded by well-respected politicians but became a security state instead of a democracy, mismanaged Balochistan, was late to push for reforms in the tribal belt and overlooked growth of the Al-Qaeda Network in the region until 9/11, was too late to push for the Intra-Afghan Dialogue in Afghanistan because Taliban groups were naively assumed to be loyal, and could not convince many countries to invest in Pakistan. Even CPEC was mismanaged and did not live up to its hype in Pakistani discourses. The brilliant CNG project took a toll on Pakistani gas reserves and now focus is on extracting minerals. I hope that the minerals project will be better planned and utilized. But some are skeptical. Pakistani issues do not help its image.

Pakistan is unable to create a flourishing economy consequently and rely on foreign goodwill to make ends meet. Recall the FATF Saga? This was but a push for reforms from other countries but not much has changed in Pakistan.

China has made it possible for Pakistan to meet its security obligations but some are expecting from China to solve all Pakistani issues? How can China do that?

The US have had a significant role in preventing a wider conflict between India and Pakistan since the 1980s but the US finds it difficult to cultivate a broader relationship with Pakistan and now see much potential in India instead. The US is not alone in this calculus but many countries are following suit. Some countries will attempt to diffuse tensions between Pakistan and India but they might also support Indian position in issues with Pakistan when India will be willing to talk. Maybe Pakistan is late to create leverage and bring India to the negotiation table on better terms as well.

All this falls on defeat ears on the current duffers who currently rule Pakistan

Global geopolitics are changing at max speed, and we are cozying up to Belarussian dictators. We make jingoistic nonsense speeches, and two days later an attack like this happens. Amateur hour all over.

The world has moved on to vibe coding, and here we are vibe geo-politking :P

The whole process will take a couple of years to actually materialize, as in first concrete steps.

If you can't get enough of the world on your side by then, to phir aap ki diplomacy do takay ki bhi nhn hai.
 
I am revising my earlier understanding that this attack was probably not a False Flag. In the last several hours, watched a few Pakistani analysts--some quite smart ones and not the jingoistic types. Zaid Hamid is jingoistic type. But this video, though is 8 days old, and I frankly never cared for people like Zaid Hamid but this video, wow, seems so relevant about India putting in abeyance the Indus Water Treaty. Per Mr. Hamid, India has already built enough dams and infrastructure on the rivers flowing into Pakistan to not to have to worry about the IWT.
