What do you expect from these people, I learned very early on to many of these people doesn't matter if you are Indian, Pakistani, Turkish or Somali - you are seen as the "Other". Which is why I never react to a foreign "white" tourist who badmouths India... Because if he bad mouthing India he is bad mouthing our combined identity as south Asians.
This is a very deep introspective nature that I maintain as a personal principle. Sadly we brown folk seem to have a tendency to seek validation from the white man, the ghulami of the 1890s hasn't yet left our combined collective memory and DNA it would seem.
Not entirely agreeing here
They see two backwards nations, not modernizing, very jingo, essentially the same people, going nuclear over religion.... Which they consider backwards themselves
They would not relish the idea of refugees
Some of that is at least somewhat true
