At that time all countries in the world were banning the export of medical supplies, not just China. China didn't even have enough supplies for itself at the time, so why blame us?That wasn't what I was talking about.
I was talking about when Covid hit China had runners across the world draining the supplies of masks and stuff.
Then when countries tried to restock you cut off exports of the same supplies.
Even your "allies" got shafted.

it depends on whether the US enter into recession on this, currently it ranges from 40-60% chance from different outlook forecast if the tariff plan go ahead. In addition to destruction of private wealth in trillions USD the US will lose 500 billion USD a year as per IMF estimates.
Trump global trade war is unsustainable.
but that is not the worst scenario. even if he wants to stop now it’s probably too late.

Tariff War Hits China Hard, Large-Scale Shutdowns, Shenzhen Bus Stations Crowded With the Unemployed
This is cht that delusional celestials in here won't tell you because Chairman Xi makes sure no bad news/truth is told how Tariff war is hurting celestial land.
Unbelievable how bosses are cleaning out factories and warehouses overnight and not paying their employees.
the US will lose $90 billion alone in tourism thanks to Trump scaring all foreigners left and right. that alone is a big chunk for some economies. his tariff global war even targets penguins. the US consumers will cut back on spendings. Trump is on his mission to destroy US democracy, justice, parliament, universities, allies, friends, NATO, UN, and the rest.it depends on whether the US enter into recession on this, currently it ranges from 40-60% chance from different outlook forecast if the tariff plan go ahead.
If the US had not entered into recession, this is going to take around 3 to 5 years to readjust itself, settle with the new post tariff trading environment, where company move their asset in and out of US to reach the equilibrium, and within that 3 to 5 years, prices will be high and supplies will be low, kind of like how PS5 sales after COVID.
If US had entered into recession after this, then it's going to take anything from 5 to 10 years to stabilise the financial market before we are going to be able to readjust, that 5 to 10 years (depends on who's in charge and what they did) will see a wave of post 2008 QE style bail out, works with limited supplies and demand, there are going to be a bad time because if we are entering into recession, we are most likely be in some sort of Stagflation (Where growth a low while inflation are high) if this is the case, the Fed would have to deal with one thing at a time, the more dired and more critical thing first, which mostly will be inflation, which mean rising interest rate, which inhibit market, and once the inflation is taken care of, then we will need to take care of growth issue, which mean bailout, handout, lower interest rate, and stimulus. And then we are having to address the global supply chain issue.
This never going to be a "too late" scenario, just how long it would take to un-F ourselves is the issue here.
Seems china has become the street vending capital of the war now that factories are closing.
