Why include Pakistan?

We have a pretty decent space program given our comparatively meagre allocation to it vis a vis the west, and china.

I think it stands at about 1.5 billion $, NASA is 25 bil (not including spaceX) , China at about 15 billion.

Japan, most surprisingly, is at 1.5 billion USD.

^gooble stats, all

Yes, true, this is not comparable to that, or will be

What I mean to tell you is the china Pak alliance is comprehensive across the entire spectrum of cooperation

There is from their part a level of commitment to keep Pakistan let's say ....
..involved, present and not too far behind ....
That wording does not imply sacrifice on their part, if that even needed clarification, but commitment to viability

It's up to Pakistan to be able to get into a position to absorb the benefit so it's not just emergency room support

Pak... actually has more chance of getting a leg up on the future good stuffs and goodies china be cooking, than you do from the west

You have more ability to actually absorb any of the good stuff if only you got a bit of a leg up

Anyway, that is all

We have cooperation with the US/NASA and are preparing to send a guy up, some air force alpha pjeits fiter zet ke pilots.

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla and Group Captain Prasanth Balakrishnan Nair have been selected as the primary and backup astronauts, respectively, for an upcoming Indo-US mission to the International Space Station (ISS), as announced by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Shukla is the prime astronaut, while Nair will serve as the backup

Yes yes, you won this space battle by an innings and day to spare, not my contention

I am illustrating Pak china cooperation and the opportunity china offers... in line with involved, present not too far behind....

If Pak could contribute more, on space program, it would happem, and astronaut is about the max and gets pak a mention, no cheen no astronaut

But space just a new recent front....

Different example...Pak air force is stronger institution, they can benefit from 5th gen fighter sooner than India (and 6th😆😆😆), as well as future developments, they can absorb it, stay very relevant, no cheen none of dis, some good kismet

If scientific and industrial base were stronger they could get a lot more on frontier tech.

Pak is basically lucky china assists with much less drama and strings and that they can have as a strong ally either first or second global technology and industrial leader

Pak is foolish that they can absorb not much

India...the critical stuff you need you are not getting from west

Tldr:Significant qualitative strategic relationship benefits with china, persistently strong.....oceans, mountains, air, meta verse, universe

by which you mean 5th Gen stealth, F35s, right ?

its nice going solo and achieving on your own, even as we fail as we learn, and maybe flail around with our initial forays into uncharted tech land.

talking specifically of the space program, we're all very proud, we've come a long way baby.

this one always gives me warm and fuzzy vibes:

Sure, that and all the downstream and associated tech, training, industry and knowledge needed to run your own equivalent ...so much training, tech support, bit of hand holding needed

Point not to make a list of but to explain the consistent Chinese help with leg up for pak throughout history, in risky projects...absent of this who knows...but they are doing it because they are invested too in the nation, such as it is

this one part of Carl Benjamin's crew too but interesting stuff..
