After failing to do anything at all, Indians have now finally resigned to 'we will keep them at the border until they spend all their money'.

Btw for a lesson on this strategy, this is what the Europe/US tried with Russia. Their theory was that Russia is a broken economy other than their oil income and the West has a 70 times larger economy ... lets engage Russia and blockade them until they go bankrupt. The result : Defense industries popped up everywhere in Russia, Russia diversified its economy and Russia became the 2nd largest economy in Europe instead, as they built up huge military supply industry for their survival. And Europe who was so prideful instead went bankrupt trying to sustain its huge military budget against Russia.

Same happened with the US in WW2 who were not that much of a power against Germany/Japan at the time. Hitler mocked them nonstop saying they would go bankrupt in a week if they join the Allied forces, but the opposite happened there as well. At many times countries go in a higher gear for survival when faced with such threats and make improvements that they would never have, otherwise. Finally, Pakistan's survival is existential for China and many others. We are not as easy to break off economically and militarily from the rest of the world as you might think. Not to mention that neither can India sustain such stuff for a very long time. India will have a much bigger expense than Pakistan in sustaining such a posture.

Stop making up irrelevant dreams and do what is needed. Solve your issues with your neighbors instead of dreaming of their destruction all the time.

Brain is a very dangerous thing for some to possess.
Soldiers whether deployed on the front or confined to barracks, they get their meals and salaries regardless, can't say the same for Haldi Dall Bakhtoras, as your soldiers are known to blow out their own brains or take it out on colleagues because they are denied leave and miss their mummy .
Pakistani armed forces are always in motion like a well oiled machine. Always eager to give Indians a bloody nose but I guess Pakistani MODS are having more luck by whipping ***** Parsad pink .

We'll do it different this time- force you to use up inventory and fuel and money

-24 hour artillery bombardment. So you are forced to respond with 100s/1000s of shells every day.
- 24 hour air patrols always swaying near the LOC so you are forced to continuously fly your jets
- keep sending destroyers near your limit of international waters and force your nave on 24 hour patrols
- if you run out of artillery we will raid your territories with ground forces to force your troops to be alwys mobilized
- keep a million men on alert and ready to invade ( this isn't 2002- we are way better cabale of managing these things now)

All funding to be cut off from world bank (look up who is president) and IMF (look up who is first managing director)

And endless pressure to remain alert with the effect of making you constantly spend money. The US did it with the soviets until they collapsed. I think this would be a very effective strategy here too.
