Great post.
I have been resisting getting into some subjects here because I found arguing with the cultists a headache in the old PDF. But because they keep dragging their Great Leader into this thread again and again, sometimes we have to jump in. And in the context of this particularly tense situation against India, Pakistanis should know all the facts.
1) The Great Leader was so disliked that by the time the No Confidence Motion, which was a legal requirement, tabled in April 2022, he didn't have the basic democratic credentials to face that: He simply threw away the NCM based on a flimsy excuse. Two other previous Pakistani Prime Ministers faced that: Shaukat Aziz and Benazir Bhutto.
2) #1: The Great Leader first accused America for his toppling. But when he didn't find an audience, he started to accuse the Pakistani Army for his ouster.
3) The Great Leader went to America itself to try to get him restored back to power. And once asked by a Western journalist about America's role, the Great Leader brushed him off: "Forget it, that was in the past!". How convenient and hypocritical of him.
4) The Great Leader is a diplomat, a politician, an astronomer, a philosopher, an Islamiat scholar, a philanthropist, an economist, war strategist, a cricketer and many more in just ONE person. His minions and cultists bow before his wisdom. The rest of the country's politicians and military people are stupid, corrupt, and not worthy of even mentioning.
5) Should the Great Leader be released from prison, he will surely jump on a shipping container and shout day and night just to get back to power. BUT IF he is given the power back, he will be immediately hated, though he will be surely compliant with the Establishment again.
6) The Great Leader owes his popularity to the fake claim against the Americans. Nothing more than that: Pakistanis are anti-American and he was someone allowed ONE year to propagate his falsehood to create the populism.

In short, while the Pakistani Establishment can be accused of many things, their biggest mistake was using political parties to discredit them all while allowing a mental retard, FASCIST like the Great Leader to become the favored spoiled child of the Establishment until the stupid, Fascist nature was too obvious to ignore. Shame on the Pakistani Establishment!!

Unfortunately - the reality is that Pakistan is in its worst state where effectively the population of Balochistan is EXACTLY where the population of Bangladesh was in 71. There just aren’t enough of them but in such a crisis the situation is ripe for a breakaway movement declaration if ONLY the Baloch can find a single leader.

KP too is heading in certain directions - so as much as mr Faux pax corned tigger is an issue he needs to be released and given reasonable pacification even if it means antagonizing PML(N) because frankly other than those with family or financial ties no ine wants, likes or cares about them.

I don’t count poor as relevant because their maslows pyramid means a single Biryani plate or their local Chaudhry etc is the price.

India is pivoting to potentially waging an attrition escalation with AJK and trying to force blockade in lieu with economic pressures with IMF - hoping it triggers at the least a collapse in Balochistan and parts of KP where Pakistan is forced to make a compromise on losing parts of AJK if it wants to keep the rest.

There should be no jingoistic illusion to how dangerous this is right now.

Because at the end of it all - neither the Sharifs, IK or others atop in uniforms will really “pay” anything as they never did post 71. Its the people that will suffer immensely.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif warned on Monday that India could carry out a military strike at any point along the Line of Control (LoC) as tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours continue to simmer following the attack on tourists in IIOJK.

"There are reports that India may strike at any point along the Line of Control (LoC)… New Delhi will be given a befitting reply," the defence minister said while speaking to journalists in Islamabad.

Relations between the two arch-rivals have nosedived since gunmen killed 26 people on April 22 in an attack targeting tourists in Pahalgam.

New Delhi linked Islamabad to the attack without offering any evidence and took a flurry of punitive measures to downgrade ties, including suspending the Indus Waters Treaty, revoking visas of Pakistanis, and closing Wagah-Attari border crossing, among others.

Islamabad, in response, ordered the expulsion of Indian diplomats and military advisers, cancelling visas for Indian nationals, with the exception of Sikh pilgrims, and closing the main border crossing from its side.

Pakistan also denies involvement in the attack and offered to take part in a credible and transparent investigation.

Speaking to reporters today, Asif said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had already called for the constitution of an international commission to investigate the incident. "Such a probe would expose whether India itself or any internal group was involved, and clarify the truth behind New Delhi’s baseless allegations against Pakistan," he added.

“An international investigation will reveal whether [Indian Prime Minister] Narendra Modi is lying or telling the truth,” he said, adding, “Only then can we tell Modi that he is a liar and destroying global peace.”

The minister further castigated Modi for "pushing the region to the brink of nuclear war" solely to secure votes through political drama.

He further said that India is involved in sponsoring terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. “We had presented evidence of Indian terrorism in KP to the United Nations in 2016 and 2017,” he noted, adding: “Those proofs included videos showing how India finances and instigates terrorism.”

He regretted that Pakistan continues to face threats from across the Afghan border, asserting that the recent wave of terrorism in KP and Balochistan is being orchestrated from Afghanistan, with India’s backing.

When asked why the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) skipped last night's security briefing, Asif said: “I don’t know why PTI chose not to participate in the in-camera session."

He also noted that resolutions have now been passed by both the Senate and the National Assembly on the current situation. “The stance of the nation is clear. If anyone still wants to call an APC (All Parties Conference), they may go ahead,” he added.

NA resolution warns India of swift, decisive response to aggression​

Separately, the National Assembly passed a resolution warning India that any act of aggression, including water terrorism or military provocation, would be met with a “firm, swift and decisive” response.

The resolution, tabled by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, warned India that Pakistan remains fully capable and prepared to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity as "clearly demonstrated by its robust and valiant response to India's reckless actions in February 2019".

It also condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and emphasised that killing of innocent civilians was contrary to the values upheld by Pakistan.

The resolution also rejected all "frivolous and baseless attempts" to link Pakistan with the Pahalgam attack in occupied Kashmir.

It condemned the "orchestrated and mala fide campaign" by the Indian government to malign Pakistan, "which follows a familiar pattern of exploiting the issue of terrorism for a narrow political goal."

It further condemned India's "unlawful and unilateral declaration" to hold the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance in blatant violation.

The resolution emphasised that the people of Pakistan remain committed to peace, but will never allow anyone to transgress the country's sovereignty, security, and interests.

It also demanded that India should be held accountable for its involvement in different acts of terrorism and targeted assassinations on the soil of other countries, including Pakistan.

"Pakistan's unwavering moral, political and diplomatic support for and commitment to the Kashmiri people's just struggle for realization of their inalienable right to self-determination," the resolution concluded.

300 Sikh pilgrims arrive in Pakistan via Kartarpur Corridor despite tensions​

SHAKARGARH (Dunya News) – In a powerful display of religious harmony and Pakistan's commitment to peace, 300 Sikh pilgrims crossed into Pakistan through the Kartarpur Corridor to perform their religious rituals, despite rising tensions and fear tactics from Indian authorities.

The pilgrims revealed that Indian officials had tried to dissuade them from traveling, warning of danger in Pakistan. "They told us we would be killed if we went to Pakistan," one pilgrim shared. "But we said death can come anywhere, so we came to Kartarpur, Pakistan."

Upon arrival, the Sikh pilgrims praised Pakistan for its hospitality and peaceful atmosphere. “Pakistan is a peaceful country with loving people,” they said, adding that Indian media spread unnecessary fear and misinformation.

It is noteworthy that following the Pahalgam false flag incident, India shut its doors to Pakistani visitors. However, Pakistan continued to uphold religious freedoms, granting special exemption to Sikh pilgrims and allowing entry despite overall border restrictions.

I absolutely don't see a parallel between the then East Pakistan and today's Baluchistan: Geography and demography are too different. A chunk of Baluchistan is Pashtun and they don't align with the few Baluch tribesmen. Also, in case of some understanding between Pakistan and India, the Baluch centrifugalism will be greatly diminished. I consider Baluchistan as little centrifugal as I consider Khalistan: Dead issues.

Regardless of that, Imran Khan has no brain, no vision, no integrity--he was better as a cricketer and now should be relegated to doing just charity work--and that's charitably speaking with the pun added!

I absolutely don't see a parallel between the then East Pakistan and today's Baluchistan: Geography and demography are too different. A chunk of Baluchistan is Pashtun and they don't align with the few Baluch tribesmen. Also, in case of some understanding between Pakistan and India, the Baluch centrifugalism will be greatly diminished. I consider Baluchistan as little centrifugal as I consider Khalistan: Dead issues.

Lets agree to disagree - Balochistan’s issue is lack of population but geography definitely favors a long term insurgency.
