So they're going to intervene militarily if hostilities break out between India and China ?

This not not Vietnam or Korea, can't draw a parallel ;) with those wars here.
If they were shelling each other or fighting in the air, China would not send troops to intervene, but would only provide armaments to support them. But China will never allow India to violate Pakistan's territorial sovereignty. The Chinese government has already made clear warnings on many occasions.

This will make the Indians scream, again.

I think it is also time to stop Indian flow of water from the Chinese side.

China is not treaty bound to do that, is it ?

It would be a huge departure from their general way of handling the Indo-Pak conflict.

A direct intervention may also spark something bigger, let your imagination run wild lol

interesting times ahead.

Well, you got your answer. Now you have to deal with it.

There is no defense treaty between China and Pakistan. But there was also no defense treaty between China and Vietnam during the Vietnam War. When the Korean War broke out. China and North Korea also did not have a defense treaty. China's forceful involvement was never based on a treaty.

Ethnicity, cultural influence etc is also a big factor.

Be very interesting to see if the Han jump in here, in 'different people' war.

You can probably expect some PLA action say on the borders if real serious war ever breaks out as did in 1965.

It is India that is so obsessed by "ethnoreligious" determinants, constantly portraying some groups as "the other" but some groups as "sacred cows", purely on the basis of ethnoreligious descriptors.

Your nation has been raised this way. The parents should be blamed.

ethnicity and religion are 2 different things

China has already lost a lot of money in Pakistan due to CPEC

And now you want the Chinese soldiers to fight for Pakistan

However, the Indian state narrative blurs their lines. For example, if you're north Indian, you're ethnically similar to me, but by virtue of my religion, I am regarded a "traitor" to my "native heritage".

Then you may compare a north Indian and south Indian. Somehow, a south Indian hindu, with less genetic connection to the Indus Valley, ranks higher in the 5000 year sanghee narrative than I do, purely because he chooses hinduism and I choose Islam.

Why didn't China support Pakistan in UN SC MEETING
