However, I wanted to take the views of the experts here on the possibility of India further escalating after a Pakistani response.


From all the activities on the Indian side, it's pretty evident that they are not backing down—and in fact, are prepared to escalate the situation onto a much larger canvas. This will obviously help them drive the final outcome, especially given the resource asymmetry between the two countries.
