Funnily enough, recently there’s a bollywood top gun knockoff film spinning yarns about the Abhinandan misadventure, bluntly called “fighter”(yes they somehow spun it from a plain L into a W). The plots and the actual air combat footages are hilariously bad, but trust me, the actors are anything but “skinny”. If you want silly laughs, biceps and abs, tits and ass, and lots of bollywood dance, the film will give you that. Certainly saved me from a boring weekend

Now that it's the third day of hostilities I want to say,cool down guys. Why am I saying this? Pakistani morale is sky high and rightly so. But seeing all this roasting of the Rafale and overconfident posts about Chinese superiority,there's a couple of things one has to consider calmly:

1.The voices of some members here suggesting Pakistan stop the hostilities. I think it would be smart. You don't know if the tide would turn.

Imagine if somehow the IAF managed to shoot down a J-10C or JF-17. Oh don't laugh,you think it's impossible? Don't underestimate them.

What would happen then? You know the average Indian on the internet. You know their media. You know their surreal pride for their country. Imagine all the memes and bragging about "shot down cheap Chinese fighter haha" and "Pakistan make JF-17 now nobody buy it". There would be no end to it.

2.The non-stop bashing of the Rafale and the French. There's so many memes already. The PAF is justified,for sure. Yes,my country uses it and I have all the Turks dancing around here. The point is,I know all this hype is justified,but here's who you're dealing with

Rafale without GAN AESA can't manage to detect and lock on earlier than the enemy, they can't shoot down a J10C firing out of line of sight. only China and USA have GAN AESA in this world. Rafale uses GAAS AESA. its radar is generationally different from J10C.

By engaging Rafales with long-range missiles like the PL-15, which boasts a range of up to 300 km, Pakistan has now neutralise the Meteor threat before it materialises. The extended reach of the PL-15 allows our Pakistani fighters like the J-10C a to target Rafales well before they get within their own Meteor launch range. If a Rafale is forced to defend itself - by manoeuvring, deploying countermeasures a, or retreating — it loses the ability to guide or support its Meteor missile, rendering it ineffective or causing it to abort mid-flight. I think US Airforce is worried about PL-15. And on another note, Egypt, Qatar, & Greece have a very good argument to ask for a refund back and return Rafale jets back to Paris. Jets did not deliver as promised by the Dassault specs!!!

Dropped down, shot down, crashed into a truck. Who cares. The incompetence of the Indian air force amazes me. And not from my readings on this forum. There's an interesting book written by an American war hero who analyzed different air forces including the Indian air force during the 1980's. He was gob smacked at their high degree of incompetence. If I recall correctly, he attributed much fault towards nepotism in their air force. The reality is that India with its upward economic turn invests in expensive fighters such as the Rafale. Somebody here posted something about a Ferrari driven in a field. That is the most apt analogy.

PS. You seem to believe that I am Indian or that I have some sentiment towards the Indian fiasco in this incident. You are highly mistaken buddy
