Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

traditional foot soldiers are losing their central role, as decisive power now lies with air forces and navies

It has been this way since the advent of the last century but the desis seems to be kept in delusions of qaroon E ulaa and Naseem Hijazi

Let's put it this way. Machine should be very capable, the operator should also be skilled in its use. The F-35 is far more advanced and automated than Rafale F3R or virtually any 4+ gen fighter and makes it much easier for the pilot to fight and produce results with it. However, the US has full control over the F-35 (Case in point). Indian Air Force will not be the same again if it consider this option because the US will take charge and push for organizational reforms in this context.

Indians may be smart on paper, but integrating something like the F-35 into their system is a different story—it’ll take years, likely not fully ready before 2035. On the other hand, Pakistan is already building its own jets and upgrading its infrastructure. The real advantage is compatibility—our tech works seamlessly with Chinese platforms. JF-17, J-10, and even J-35 share common systems, making upgrades and integration 60–70% more cost-effective. For Pakistan, adapting and evolving is faster, cheaper, and strategically smarter.

So a missile travelling at mach 5 can land so perfectly intact.

This is another Only in India thing I guess.

You guys were correct; they were probing to see our Air Defense locations along the border region; hence, they were allowed to come in and shot down.

Indian drone attacks aimed at detecting locations inside Pakistan: defence minister

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that yesterday’s Indian drone attacks were aimed at detecting locations inside Pakistan. “This is the reason why the drones were not intercepted so that our locations are not leaked.”

“We shot down the drones at a safe location,” he elaborated.

Asif stated that the Parliament was being informed about the developing situation and this would continue. “No one should doubt that our armed forces are fully engaged in responding to the Indian aggression.”

“We want to assure the nation that we are 200 per cent prepared to respond to the current situation,” he affirmed, adding that everyone’s morale was high.

Pakistan carted off the helicopter after may-11 to China - only fitting India carts of the PL-15 to the US as well.

If anything - it will help India understand where China is in its motor development - and the number of AESA modules. They may or may not get to its diagnostic ports but once it gets to the US the PL-15 is known.

However, both China and US are now moving to 300km+ systems now.

China provided these system with a view that one day they will be taken apart and studied by the USA.
