Exactly, was more of a symbolic attack. These two airbases / field are within 100 km from our borders. So it make no sense for india to keep important assets so close at these times when they suspected Pak retaliation.

Secondly, when india hit our airbases first. It obviously would have taken their assets away from these airbases.

PA is making a point. Its not actually starting a war. Now it will all depend on india, if they choose to go to next stage from here.

Don't know all the details but keep in mind that by targeting military sites only, Pakistan is already signaling that it won't do what India did by cowardly attacking and murdering civilians. There is mileage in this unless Indians croak again and then the sledgehammer will fall. I can guarantee that Pakistani strikes in IIOK will get the point across that we can hit ANY location in India. Tit for tat for the idiotic "ghuss k maraingay" claim on the other side.

Pretty sure Pakistan told off the Saudi delegation which came to convince Pakistan to take the Indian 'off ramp'. And, yes, an Indian official did make a statement about giving Pakistan an 'off ramp' in last 1-2 days.

If this is retaliation then both sides will claim victory. But this cannot happen again in 4-5 years so lets see.

Just going by Modi age, doubt he care much about his life or others looking at history.
