Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

From what you heard, were we still keep up with the escalation if not dominating it?
There is no "dominating" it. Have you seen this movie?

It was to a point in effect of this - where even with their respective conventional forces - things were getting to a non-conventional scenario with the US and Russia here. The escalation ladder skipped all the mobilization and so on.

The disappointment is not that they hit our bases. It was given Brahmos saturation attack will happen. It will overwhelm our AD. It did happen. But the barge came with Drones, SCALP and other missiles.

The disappointment is their AD handled our saturation attack better than us. Drones, Fatah Missiles. Also we didn't send our Tier 1 cruise missiles towards them, only the conventional missile strikes. The psychological impact that Indian missiles created on us, it was limited for them.

Their investment on AD has paid off. Our investment on AD was recent and we have held our ground decently but it needs to be expanded. Layers upon layers has to be created like the Indian AD.
See my post above - consider the need to hold onto cards - and the budget/resources available.

All things considered, our AD did quite well. But yes, we need to heavily invest in layered AD asap.

Keeping in mind 6-7 years ago, our main AD missiles were Crotale/SPADA and Manpads.

That also goes for all other aspects of claims to counter claims.
Be it air to air kills(where you have everything from electronic data that suggests something happened), Aerial visuals from your own pilots(difficult in BVR) and then various accounts from your own military or ground sources(not always reliable) and then other intel.

So you can claim kills based on electronic signatures and various accounts( 2019 Abhinandan was total proof but Su-30 was electronic and RT proof but nothing definitive from Humint in the fog of war - so cannot be proven or unproven especially since PAF did not have access to space assets on demand as it does now).

Today, BDA is also a mix of satellite and other aspects - PAF not showing proof for S-400 strikes it may have electronic "proof" of could be anywhere from the aspect of Satellite passes taking anywhere from an hour to two - and these are mostly "outsourced" systems so they follow a Non-ideal orbit for surveillance over India whereas India has more assets that allow for better coverage of Pakistan.

Which also means let assume for the benefit of the doubt a S-400 system(with 10+ components in the battery or more) was hit in ONE component - an hour is enough time to move such a component out of the way or at least the remaining to system to alternative dispersal sites.

Either way, the only TRUE accounts of these emerge when a Kaiser Tufail or Hopefully an Indian counterpart writes on these events.

The danger for saner minds is NOT who scored more - but how QUICKLY the escalation ladder went up and out of control in the fog of war - based on what I have heard - gave me goosebumps and it should give you a lot as well.
We were at the verge of catastrophe, thanks heavens saner heads prevailed over the hotheads

Hopefully the Indian side gets this. They can't just casually use Pakistan as a punching bag for domestic political consumption. It can spiral out of hand quite fast.

Imagine the saturation attack on Pakistan Navy. If Our On-ground AD was unable to handle the saturation attack on day3, what will happen to our Naval ships and assets when brahmos saturation attack starts happening. We have limited AD coverage in the sea while india has large amount of Brahmos carriers. Our Submarine and aerial component is once again will have to defend dearly against us @Oscar

Navy relies on coverage from coast as well - but in a full on Saturation attack - you could likely have men in lifeboats.

That being said - A2./AD is effective enough that if any IN ships cross a certain line they too are certain to be in lifeboats. Just that you will need to have many more IN men in lifeboats to degrade them enough in an all out situation.

In its current state - certain IN ships - even 2 can cause half of PN fleet to be badly out of conflict.

No one doubts the fighting spirit and ingenuity of PN - and they likely too have similar spoofing/jamming capability as PAF - but it takes that one mach 2.6 behemoth of a missile to slam in the right area to take a frigate down.

so what will india do now that their god Rafaels have fallen. try to get F35 or Su57?
100% they will rush to whatever available to them instantly (will take them three years for combat readiness)....they most likely to go for SU57....

Saturation attack with brahmos is wastage of resources....

Pakistan did not react when a Brahmos "accidently" landed in Pakistan back in 2022?

Apparently Indians are boasting on SM that India hit Pakistan's Nuclear storage facility at Kirana Hills that leaked radiation we didn't see any heightened or out of the ordinary reaction from Pakistan all things considered.
In 2022, that was a diplomatic message to remove Imran Khan, and we came under pressure. That missile had no warhead, and they utilized the incident very effectively. This is why I said Bajwa was the weakest link in that so-called dream team.

The Indians didn’t just harm their own security — they damaged the reputation of France and its fighter jet, which is considered a cornerstone of Europe’s defense. This incident also undermines France’s own security credibility. Now, if any country provides India with jet fighters, they will fear those jets could be exposed, defeated, or even destroyed by Pakistan. It would damage the reputation of their technology and raise doubts about its effectiveness. That’s why countries should not supply India with advanced weapons and must protect the secrecy and integrity of their defense systems.

You guys do not realise this has worse implications for pasting world order

this aligns with the interview with the farmer who mentioned that there were explosions after it fell killing one person and injuring 9 others. possibly missiles / flares / seat ejector rockets exploding due to fire and high temperature.
