Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

From the Chinese point of view, Pakistan sort of wasted a great opportunity that perhaps only appears once in decades. Pakistan agreed ceasefire too easily and too quickly under the circumstance of upper hands. It was obviously a miscalculation.
India didn't get beaten up in a proper way - it's going to come back.

Our POV: India's 5-6 losses are our complete victory but our Erieye can be brushed under the carpet.
Indian POV: India's 5-6 losses are a small price to pay for strikes at terr*r targets in Pakistan.
But outside of South asia, no one care about who has landed more missile/drone to other's land, people including major new channel, blogger, military ethuiasts thinks it's just another day between two countries, I think everyone except BJP Indian can see the world only talks about the air combat that happened on the night of 07 May, it's a major blow to the reputation of IAF and India that they can not recover unless they perform better next time, and we can imagined there is a huge moral issue within IAF, they had high hopes on Rafale, the Indian members here always claimed it was not meant for PAF but China, now, plan of two front war shatter into pieces.

Initial plan was like that when you hear American vice President saying we don't. We have nothing to do with India Pakistan war war when they saw Indians had upper hand. It was my initial assessment. This war will not go more than 4 days because more than 4 days it going to be disaster for American plans. I am afraid they will ask India to station American soldiers.. because Indian confidence is shattered yet is highly possible

Without massive help from america, the west, russia and israel, there is NO way india can take on Pakistan militarily. The evidence is there for the world to see.

Go through the briefing again.

Ill repeat the sequence -
Every target picked up coming towards the border is sorted and classified WELL before it comes in and KEEP IN MIND AT TIMES THIS RESPONSE IS IN NANOSECONDS to what is barely a minute or less in terms of launch to hit.

Be it 1 or 1000.

Then, based on their trajectory automatically handed over to various controllers and sectors - along with cueing appropriate assets for those controllers.

This includes multiple jamming emitters and spoofing that messes up the location info of the system even before decision is made(or rather provided by the system) on what hard kill asset could be used.

If spoofing is confirmed (in seconds) that the systems are NOT going to hit their intended target then comes the case of "are they going to hit a civilian population or a specific empty area near the actual target".

Remember, a Brahmos is supposed to have a CEP of 1m. If the combination of spoofing(changing what its positioning data is getting) and jamming(flooding it's positioning and targeting receivers along with general noise in electronic circuits) causes that to go to 50m then essentially the damage it does is minimized.

Then the decision is made based on that track - do you engage with a hard kill like a SAM with the risk of immediately revealing the position of that system to enemy ELINT assets active?

And this Brahmos doesnt always come alone - it comes in packs - like shown in the briefings.

This entire OODA loop is bring run in a matter of a minute or so - and if the decision is made that it wont cause damage - let it go.
That is what is rumored to have happened at Chaklala except that splinters of the weapon(brahmos or other) hit a fuel bowser that still caused some fire damage.

If you do shoot it down, the solution has to be rapid because it is like hitting a bullet with another bullet in the case of Brahmos.

So if at the end with all of this one does get through or so - and PAF's AD isnt as think as IAFs based on funds - it's still a pretty good result for the resources available.

Everyone like to talk to usual echoes of 71 "Why was no PAF aircraft over Lahore as IAF flew over"

PAF Has objectives to handle - and if those objectives mean a jammed drone on pure unguided endurance line gets to fly over Lahore or Peshawar on its way to crash in some empty area - so be it.
What you are saying it is kind of Star war movies. USA is impressed by the paf. Paf Cyber kinetic web was so advance even even Americans do not have this technology. Impressed

It feels ils. Pakistan had micro level of info about Indian attack and defense weapon systems

Pakistan has air superiority but it's hard for their current assests to cross the border, Indian airforce is not giving a second chance, they are not engageing PAF like in the first night, so, the battle has gone into throwing mud at each other, and that is not a good sign for Pakistan as long dragging war is not in their favour due to the size, finaical difficulty, I'll say the only regrets was showing restreint on the first night, they can definitely shoot down more Indian plane to forced the Indian public to accept the cruel reality.

What is nagging me is why didn't Pakistan use its tier 1 cruise missles like Raad and Babur when India was using Brahmos. What can be the strategic thought behind it? Can anyone provide insight on this? @Oscar @FuturePAF
@ghazi52
When they use the terms, calibrated, GRADUATED, response. that means we start to put some sense into idiot Mod's head first by appealing to common sense, then by logic, then by love, then by verbal warnings, then by light slap, so on and so forth.....this was the love we showed him that made him understand

If either side had captured a pilot he/she would have been paraded in the streets by the government because more than anything else what both sides are looking for is a media victory and a captured pilot would be one hell of a propaganda win.
Even if they did not parade it(let's say for ceasefire's sake) - the basic aspect of ANY conspiracy theory is that the more people are involved the more it gets to leak.

Let's say Abhinandan was kept completely quiet - at some point - some video of him would leak.

In this war, we saw both the benefit and the disadvantage of not having geographical depth. The benefit was the quick movement of our troops, but the disadvantage was our increased vulnerability due to the lack of depth. Now you understand why we’ve always said Afghanistan is like our fifth province.
We must sign security pact with Afghanistan.
