Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

India is already pushing perceptions - from paid articles to “Friendships” being realized with known youtube and instagram bloggers.
More so - videos of “more” intact PL-15s are emerging which regardless of number fired(common in BVR battles that more than one is launched) - or if these are actually different missiles at all - means these can be put as proof that Indian aircraft dodged missiles.

So far Pakistan has failed to produce any concrete official proof of its claims no matter what electronic signatures are claimed and for whom - and only three wrecks means you cannot go with your claim of 5.

Same goes for airbases - I can take the claim of someone Ive known for 20 years but no one else cares. I call it the same dilemma of bringing a resume to a new country - I don’t trust your word of mouth. Show me images or testimonials of captured pilots - or at the end I will believe who I have.

Talking to 3 digit movements on Martin Bakers website is trying to stitch together dots that only people in the same industry or role could accept.

The wider audience is 30 seconds tik tok - and so far that is now slipping away from a very coordinated Indian effort to change the narrative at every possible channel.

Chinese analysts are busy and presenting more and more clues connecting the missing dots. They are even more desperate than Pakistanis to show evidences of what really happened out there.

Yes but the greater media is controlled by the west - and the lines are drawn.
Pakistan is in the unfortunate position of walking the middle of the road.

And when you walk the middle of the road you get hit by both sides

Pakistan claims to have shot down five Indian Air Force fighters, including no fewer than three Rafale multirole jets. There are reports that a high-ranking French intelligence official, speaking to CNN, confirmed one Rafale shootdown, and imagery published on social media appears to show the wreckage of one of the French-made jets. Sources official and unofficial have attributed at least some of the claimed kills to the J-10C and PL-15 combination.
Regarding the possible Rafale loss that appears to be supported by imagery, Bronk warns about jumping to any particular conclusions, just as we have done in our previous reporting.

.. yet there are celebrations in Pakistan and borderline mourning in India. Says a lot about what the public believes to be the truth. The Indian media is trying to divert this anger to 'why the ceasefire happened'. But there is plenty of anger about why India lost in air warfare, avoided naval warfare altogether and almost equated in missile warfare and that feeling is quite strong in Indians.

Even if their mainstream media completely refuses to accept anything, all international Media has confirmed Rafale kills, S400 kill is seeming more and more likely, India had complete diplomatic isolation, Pak/India has been hyphenated again and Kashmir issue has been revived. There is absolutely nothing for Indians to celebrate but a lot more to mourn about.

Did Pakistan shoot down three Indian Rafale jets in Kashmir clashes?

Pakistan claims it shot down three Indian Air Force Rafale fighter jets during the clashes in Kashmir on the night of May 6 to 7. Pakistani internet users allege that several images and videos document the destruction of the aircraft. However, some are unrelated, while others offer indications but no definitive proof. Only one French aircraft may have been shot down.

Indian media confirmed 4 aircrafts shot down before crack down/internet ban started. 3 in IoK and 1 in Punjab.

3 rafales shot down if true will eventually be confirmed. Dassault aviation is public company based in Europe. Some leaks will come. 1 rafale in Bathinda/Punjab 100% confirmed.

The decisions being made during this very crucial time are seriously damaging Pakistan’s standing on international platforms and social media. While India has managed to recover its digital image in the past five days, Pakistani social media has started pulling back support — especially after witnessing the shocking developments at home.

Imran Khan being sentenced to 14 years in prison, and courts deciding to try civilians in military courts — all during such a sensitive time — is beyond comprehension. No reasonable person, let alone a patriot, would take such actions when the country needs unity, strength, and stability. These are the moments when a real nation-state works to bring its people together, not divide them further.

Frankly, it’s hard to ignore the possibility that some elements within the establishment may be working in alignment with Indian interests. The timing, the tactics, the self-sabotage — it all seems too destructive to be accidental. These actions are not weakening Imran Khan; they are weakening Pakistan.

Instead of building national strength and countering propaganda, these decisions are undermining the military’s own position — especially when a large part of its remaining public support came from PTI voters. This is not just political miscalculation; this is strategic suicide

A lot of American military related commentary on youtube and tiktok is dumb. They are in it for the views and India represents a big market. I sensed a lot of disbelief and playing down of Chinese technology.

They are not ready to accept that someone could be technically superior enough to achieve this kind of victory — because it wasn’t just India that was defeated, it was Western technology, and it was defeated badly. They are in shock, struggling to come to terms with it.

To them, it feels like magic — the use of surveillance jets to direct Beyond Visual Range (BVR) missiles precisely at enemy targets. It’s something they never expected, and they’re finding it hard to believe it actually happened.

This is to be expected. No national reconciliation is on the cards. This will be used to get extensions and have the same family ruling Pakistan at least till 2032. The Chachu replaced by the Niece at the center whenever she desires.

Anyways Pakistan's history has shown that these waves of popularity are short lived. Ayub Khan had a bigger victory to sell but it didn't help him one bit. Even IKs 2019 victory over India just gave him another year and that is it.

If you observe the recent social media war, it completely destroyed India’s and even Western technology’s reputation — exposing their weaknesses like never before. And just when Pakistan was gaining the upper hand in narrative warfare, our own leadership made a series of shockingly foolish decisions.

No true patriot would make such moves at such a critical time. Sentencing Imran Khan to 14 years, pushing for military trials of civilians — these actions serve no national interest. On the contrary, they divide the nation and weaken Pakistan’s position globally.

It doesn’t feel like incompetence anymore — something is clearly off. It raises serious questions: are there individuals inside the establishment working in alignment with Indian interests? Because these decisions are not just reckless — they are strategically damaging, and the only beneficiary seems to be India.
