PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

Gora Sahib is gone and replaced by Kala Sahib. Kala Sahib still keeps in touch with Gora Sahib.
...other side of coin, Gora brought modern technology and system in India, Railways, bridges, industry, irrigation system...
What desi army gave to Pakistan?
They just had a chokehold upon nations throat and do that gleefully.

No! Nothing hints this besides wishful thinking! The PLAAF will surely again equip at least two units with about 24-30 Aircraft altogether … and then a First Front-line unit… and only then maybe!
Is there some urgency in the PLAAF to induct the J-35 when they already have the superior J-20 in good numbers? Or is it to replace the aging fleet?

What is China going to do with them? Pak-Indo war can start in 6 months.

Bring all your weapons for battle test! We will take good care of them.
Lol, not even in the next 4 years atleast unless they are brain-dead

According to some J-35 is already in Pakistan lmao I think it was Mubashar Luqman on tv show.

Anyway before this war no one cared about Chinese aircrafts. Every average Pakistani was obsessive with F-16. But now everyone is counting days to get J-35 before next round start.
Average Pakistanis/civilians with no defense equipment knowledge don’t even count when we talk about popularity.

It’s the officers, the aviation enthusiasts and military strategists who have a say in this.

J-10C was a very much needed piece of puzzle in the PAF ever since USA rejected the acquisition of further F-16s (even used, and even that wouldn’t come with AESA). CPEC was decisive in terms of our military procurement preferences (China, cheaper, No strings attached in terms of usage limitations, Ever advancing tech with high chance of inheriting those goodies which US would never in a million years sell to us).

JF-17, no matter how good that platform is, has serious limitations due to its light weight category, inadequate power output for top notch Chinese avionics and sacrifice of agility when HPs are completely mounted. Its a good strategy to increase numbers with very potent capabilities but the Medium class fighters are very important for heavy payload, power consuming avionics and J-10C was the best fit. I have been saying that since a long time and then they suddenly appeared out of nowhere, It was like a dream come true.

PAF must increase its J-10C fleet to at least 60-70 units, Karachi requires longer range fighters and J-10C would be the best replacement of No.7 and No.8 Sqdrn Masroor mirages.

We also need a new airbase, close to Ormara in the mountainous region with long range fighters.

South coast is a sitting duck, Rafale M should reach India in the next 3-4 years and we need something to counter it.

J-35, few units if stationed in Karachi would be a nightmare for Vikrant/the other one.

I personally think that his purchase of a Chinese J-10 instead of an American F-16 seriously violates the interests of the United States in Pakistan.
The outcome of the India Pakistan conflict indicates that the United States' prediction at that time was correct. If the Pakistani government had purchased F-16 at that time, the United States could have easily controlled the outcome of the India Pakistan conflict. From the current results, ZDK-03+J-10+HQ can fully meet Pakistan's needs to maintain national sovereignty. The Pakistani government does not need to purchase J-35
I hope the Pakistani government can allocate its limited resources towards economic development.
J-35 is like the aerial form of MAD.

While we did great in the recent conflict, I believe this time India has learnt a lesson and they will seriously work on upgrading/incorporating systems.

The next time we meet IAF, it would probably be a much different one than the one we know of.

But something that the IAF cannot immediately procure is 5th gen fighter. F-35 has a good backlog and the best they could get is the earliest delivery by 2028+.

J-35 roaming around in our skies would keep them further at bay than what they already are.

Besides, J-35 could easily best S-400 in SEAD/DEAD roles and their major air defenses would be at our mercy.

People need to understand a key difference between Chinese and Pakistani military fanboys.
Chinese fanboys are mostly ordinary people/nerds/enthusiasts who rely on open source public domain info.
This is just your guess. You don't know Chinese military fans.

Chinese military fans are indeed a minority group. China has some suppression in this area.
1, with the rise of China, the average Chinese person generates a large amount of forceful sentiments. They want the Chinese government to maximize benefits for China through forceful expansion. This is not in line with the Chinese government's strategy.
2. A large number of ordinary Chinese lack a sense of secrecy. There were many serious cases of leaks in military-type forums in China in the early days.

However, Chinese people are not lacking in military knowledge, nor are they making things up out of thin air.
1. During the Sino-Vietnamese War in the 1980s, the Chinese government popularized comprehensive military education throughout the country. Every Chinese at that time was required to learn basic battlefield survival knowledge and basic military general knowledge. And those people back then are one of the main groups of Chinese military fans today.
2. Every Chinese student of school age today must undergo a month-long basic military training. In some places it may be simpler, while in others the military training is very close to that of the army.
3. China's state television (CCTV) has a special military channel (CCTV-7). It broadcasts a variety of military programs 24 hours a day. It is also one of the official channels for releasing information on important weapons and equipment.
4. China has a large number of reserve and militia organizations. Ordinary people can receive regular military training by joining these organizations.
5. China has a very large military industry. Unlike the multinational collaboration model that is common in the military industries of Western countries, most of China's weaponry is 100% locally made in China. These factories are located throughout China. It is very easy for ordinary people to access some information on weaponry. However, we have tight legal controls that do not allow the random public release of such information.

China's social media platforms hide a large number of “professional” military fans. It is only their comments that are under “special scrutiny” by regulators. When some Chinese military enthusiasts repost this information on international platforms, they usually do so selectively. Moreover, some important information is usually hidden or altered. ------ It's our rule of survival. No one wants to go to jail.

China still has a large number (1000+) of old fighters waiting to be updated.

What’s your problem with China? Reality is without China’s help and regardless of false bravado might not be much of a Pakistan left. Hell of a lot to thank them for, nothing to be ridiculing them for.
Every now and then even the best moles slip up, betraying them as p@jeet nuisance...

J-20 is not necessarily better, and both airforce and navy needs J-35, the number could reach 500.

China GDP in 1950 was $30 billion.
In 2024 it is $18943 billion
%age growth 61233%

Pak GDP in 1950 $3.7 billion
%age growth 9981%

Army iron grip has stunted Pak development and growth both physically and mentally.

Are Pakistanis dumb that they can't develop??
no, corrupt businessmen have colluded with government and judiciary to cripple the economy.
Market reg. and enforcement, almost non-existent.
Tax collection is always in-efficient and a distortion in an economic reality. Nothing can ever be fixed with or without tax targets being met.
If anything, tax matters are brought forward by corrupt gov. officials who seek easy promotions!

dont find a reason of your and my incompetence in PA.
Sadly, father of the nation died, leaving behind fully brought up criminal minds.
Criminally minded, always finds fault with others.
no one is willing to take any responsbility, in Pak. it is almost an 'honour' to throw pranks all day and do nothing (and that pranks usually stoop to personal level)

J-35AE at Karachi will give the IN multiple recurring nightmares both for its aircraft carrier and wider fleet at large. It is a shame that the CM400-AKG is too large to fit into the internal bay of the J-35AE ! Imagine that as a capability.
