A lot of US military flights particularly tankers headed east - are now no longer using the Mode-S hex of AE05A5 - instead using a code not assigned to the United States.

Context: This is an attempt to mask movement of aircraft from prying eyes.
---

As expected OLIVE 39 had brief stop in UK for refueling and now departing for NSA Souda Bay.

The USAF has flown 34 recorded C17 Flights into CENTCOM AOR recorded since October 8th, 2026, with the greatest surge being recorded during October 27th through to October 29th.

Note: I have deliberately withheld the ICAO route code and final destination from this table.
