PA MLRS, Self Propelled and towed artillery [BM-11, Fatah-I GMLRS, Fatah-II] - News, Updates & Discussions

Yeah, but just look at the distance from the point of interception.

Remember, nothing to lose sleep on. Total number of rockets launched was VERY limited and still penetration was achieved. Gives us a lot of idea of what to do when needed.
Whats ur opinion on Pak retaliation, was it real the time and place of our choosing or reaction to Indian attacks on our airbases?

Only artillery. They got surprised from our sudden and massive response, which can be attested from the fact that they tried inducting additional M777s after the ceasefire so that they might have some fighting chance against our SH15s.

Will there be more numbers of SH-15's brought now, after their stella performance on the field of battle?

What I can say with surety is that neither it employed full capabilities system wise. Nor they attempted full saturation.

You can clearly see limited numbers of launchers. Each firing limited number of salvos (3 per launcher vs loading of 8).

What could be the reason tbh previously I believed pak had a strategic conventional missiles force under SPD but now it seems like we don't they attacked our urban centers and we launched a few F1s. That's tbh quite a pathetic response to the attack on pak soil and killing of women and children

De-escalation. Saudis, Americans, etc.

At the cost of deterrence?.
One thing I sure next time there will be hundreds of missiles raining down on pak before any airstrikes.
Two days of aerial supremacy wasted!!.
We could have beaten and truly deterred the indians anyways let's what happens in Round 3.
I hope PAF and PA are ready, indians will be like savages with their missiles.

That’s the question the field marshal should answer.

Our sector (Khuiratta, Kotli, AJK) was among hottest during this was. Main Kotli city was targeted by India with missiles (on a local house plus some mosques). After that artillery from our side made hell out of indian posts on other side.
Indian also fired mortars for 3 days and in all it is estimated that our area was hit by at least 500-600 shells. What is more interesting though (I have heard from a well informed source) that Pak army retaliate with some 3000 shells during this time.
Now I honestly don't know how much truth is in it and of course also not all shells were fired by SH-15 but I do know we fired a lot many shells to the other side than the shells we received on our side.

This brings out an another question did we gain something out of this other PAF validating their tactics.

Indians new found love of striking pak with missiles.
They got away with below the belt punch by bombing bholari airbase just before ceasefire.
I am the only who thinks we are so screwed in the long run?

Pakistan has

Fatah 1- up to 140km with over 40 launchers
Fatah 2- up to 400km with over 24 launchers
Fatah 2- up to 600km + still in development

and for A-100 with 120km range they have over 50 launchers

No. Capabilities have been validated. Gaps identified and unlike 90s there are available options to fill them.

What is needed is economy and good leadership.

Next time, they will start with Navy & decimate the Pakistan Navy ships and Karachi port with saturation attack . We had AD on land and it got saturated and airbases got damaged. What AD will be in SEA to protect our surface fleet from saturation attack? Brahmos 2 will be attacking from 700- 800 KM's.

We will have a large submarine fleet by then. This time we were handicapped by the delays due to germans hampering the engines.

Indians have 5 - 10 Submarines too. They've have P-8 submarine hunters. Their submarine capabilities matches with ours. Our submarine are exceptional in defensive war. Offensive ? that too going 500 KM into Indian territory to bring down 1 ship? not much.

They will make sure brahmos ER destroy as much naval submarine infra as they can and we have no to limited AD to protect our naval infra on ground.

We have under water hydrophones. I am also referring to defensive A2/AD aspect. With that dense subs net and sea sultans and additional surface vessels, our goal of denying range to shoot at Karachi should be achievable.

If the pause lasts a few more years, we may also see SWATS added to the fleet.

What would be nicer would be shore launched, high super sonic long ranged weapons if we can persuade China.
