If the people in the Middle East really want democracy, nobody, absolutely NOBODY can stop them,. USA is just a favorite flogging horse for all the local ills and choices to provide a convenient excuse, that is all.

That is the truth.

If this keeps going on like this, Netanyahu will be tried as a war criminal in Israel. Not because he killed so many Palestinians, but because under his watch so many elite IDF soldiers died.

Whatever gets rid of him can only be a good thing. He is too hardcore for anyone's benefit, not even Israel.

I am starting to see despair in user 'Comments' to articles on Israeli sites! And an Israeli top commander saying that airpower alone can't win the war in Gaza and Israelis will have to go into Gaza.
I think the death of the 14 soldiers over the last 48 hours has really struck them hard. Good!

One Comment on Time of Israel goes something like:

"It simply just hurt to come here every day and hear troops being killed, the number of soldiers killed now is more than people in hostage, and it diminishes the invisibility of IDF, if you struggle in a small piece of land like Gaza, how are you gonna fight hezbulla or Iran.. You can't kill more Palestinian that have been dead now, is either IDF hits harder or keep crawling and keep losing smart young soldiers."

why is democracy the correct way to rule because white man says it?

Vietnam won the war and look at Hanoi today its a booming economy Vietnam ended up being right and successful

Israel is a so called democracy in the middle east and beacon of hope and morals

and yet openly admits to bombing women and children killing 40,000 of them

if this is a democracy thank God there is not another such democracy in the middle or the world

and this "democracy " must be removed from the map

I did not say that. People get the government they deserve. If they want democracy, they will get it. If they want a monarchy, or communism, they get it. I do not make have any preferences of one system over any other.

All I am saying is blaming someone else for the results of your own choices and actions is extremely dishonest. That is all.

What the Arab people have chosen is their choice. If they want something different, no one can stop them. Thus, what is happening (or not happening, in this case) is their choice made clear.
