Just imagine if Canada simply stated it wanted a good relationship with Russia and proposed military cooperation. Would the U.S. ever allow that?

Of course not. The reaction would be immediate—pressure, interference, maybe even threats. So much for sovereignty when it challenges U.S. interests.

We all remember what happened during the Cold War—the Cuban Missile Crisis. Cuba was a sovereign nation, yet when it aligned militarily with the Soviet Union, the U.S. treated it as an existential threat and brought the world to the edge of nuclear war.

So was Cuba not sovereign when the U.S. forced its hand?

This shows the double standard clearly: sovereignty is respected only when it doesn’t challenge American dominance.

To make matters worse, the Soviet deployment of nukes to Cuba was in direct response to NATO deployment of nukes to Turkey.

For the West—especially the U.S.—any perceived threat to their power is treated as a green light to do whatever they want: sanctions, regime change, even war.

But when another country identifies its own security threat and issues warnings or prepares to respond in kind, suddenly it's “aggression,” “authoritarianism,” or “destabilizing behavior.”

The double standard is blatant. The West demands obedience, and when it doesn’t get it, it plays the victim.

Well, to be fair, Trump has accepted Putin's call that the latest Ukrainian drone attack was terrorism and Russia will now treat this as an anti-terrorism operation.

But Trump is notoriously a loose cannon not controlled by the deep state.

The Ukraine-Russia war is a dirty power play by the West. They wanted to drag Russia into conflict, and they used Ukraine as the bait. Zelensky became their ideal frontman—executing the plan while his country because hell.

As for Trump, he's just acting like a businessman, not a leader with principles. He has no fixed values—if something serves his interest, he’d probably sell out the U.S. itself without blinking.

Did the US invaded Cuba?

I hold Zelensky fully responsible for the war and its consequences.

Ukraine lacked the military strength or even a basic deterrent against Russia. Yet, Zelensky placed blind trust in the West and ignored multiple warnings, pushing the country into a conflict it wasn’t prepared for.

A more strategic leader might have taken a longer-term approach—building up Ukraine’s defenses over time, strengthening the military, and engaging in serious negotiations with Russia. Instead, Zelensky chose a reckless path.

Recently, He seemed to celebrate strikes on Russian targets, forgetting that ordinary Ukrainians would bear the brunt of the retaliation.

His leadership has been disastrously naive and short-sighted.
You don't have a long term approach other than doing this, because the "long term" approach is Russia in control of Ukraine, as they said Ukraine is not a nationality. If Zelenskyy do anything other than fight, there is not a long term Ukraine, Ukraine WILL become Russia.

The problem is, there are nothing Ukraine and Russia can talk about, because both side want the other side can't give. And neither side can force the other to concede. That is the issue, if talks failed, you fight, or you perish, that's the simple fact on this war.

Isn't canada compromised their sovereign identity?

Will allow ever by USA that canada have independent own policy and military?

Just asking because I heard such quote - sovereign!!!

I can give another examples venezuela, when USA control everything - no one talks about sovereign
You seems to have forgotten the Canadian fought us to a draw back in 1812. We didn't try that afterward does not mean they folded into us, that's the entire reason why Carney won in Canadian election a month ago, because Canadian is NOT part of the US, regardless of who say they should be our 51st state.

The first unique footage of the interception of a Ukrainian FPV drone by Russian soldiers using scissors. The soldiers set up an ambush after the Ukrainian drone appeared, the fiber optic cable through which it is controlled was simply cut. After losing communication, the drone fell and exploded

I agree the Ukraine war was engineered by the US because, as long as Russia and Europe are fighting each other, they have less time to challenge the US. Good old divide and conquer.

As for Trump, he's just acting like a businessman, not a leader with principles. He has no fixed values—if something serves his interest, he’d probably sell out the U.S. itself without blinking.

The MAGA crowd loves Russia. Tucker Carlson was all gaga while interviewing Putin, LOL.

You’re wading in worthless hypotheticals. Canada would never align with the Russians. As for Cuba, the US could have invaded Cuba and overthrown the government any time it wanted in the past 50+ years. It hasn’t

Bottom line, Ukraine wants to be free from Russian subjugation and align with the West. That is their right, and they shouldn’t be murdered for it.
