WASHINGTON: The US military's top officer bluntly accused Pakistan on Thursday of “exporting” violent extremism to Afghanistan through proxies and warned of possible US action to protect American troops. In a scathing and unprecedented public condemnation of Pakistan, Admiral Mike Mullen said the country's main intelligence agency ISI was actively supporting Haqqani network militants blamed for an assault on the US embassy in Kabul last week.
“The Haqqani Network, for one, acts as a veritable arm of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence agency,” Mullen told the US Senate Armed Services Committee.

A Comment to that video sums up why India's foreign policy has failed. Something which Mr. Khurshid Kasuri had called 'Too Clever by Half (DeRh Hushyaar).

"India is a strategic partner of US without ever involving in any armed conflict. Never committing any soldiers. Never put their soldiers in harms way. Remain distant and neutral when it comes to conflicts. Never take sides. But still love to be a strategic partner of US, Russia and Europe all at the same time. Also continue to do billions of dollars of trade with China while opposing them on every forum. Openly support Israel on their actions against Palestinians, while still diplomatically supporting Palestinians to appease their Muslim population. Also buying oil from Iran at the same time. Support northern alliance against Taliban for 20 years, called them terrorists and then suddenly extended the hand of friendship to conspire against Pakistan. A member of BRICS, QUAD and SCO at the same time. It’s about time the world should realise that India can never be a strategic partner. They ride all the boats and have a piece of every pie but when it comes to commitments, they suddenly become non aligned.Pakistan on the other hand is a genuine strategic partner. It’s good that the world is finally realising Pakistan’s leadership role in the region and acknowledging the sacrifices and efforts of Pakistan. "

A Tamil Hindu friend of my son was once quipping to him: you're lucky for you go to the mosque, spend a half an hour there, worship ONLY ONE GOD and it's over. We go to the temple and spend hours after hours there to worship tons of gods to satisfy all of them for one god's blessing may cause another god's curse......
