Please look up Scott Ritter's interviews from 2-3 months ago. I don't respect the guy a lot but he seemed prescient in what was going to happen to Iran unless Iran didn't ride out the Trump Presidency. Scott knows the American political system, he knows Trump the ultimate Zionist, he knows Netanyahu, and he was on the mark then. He was chewed out over his statements then but he was right. He said things like 'Iran needs to ride it out because this is the most Zionist administration ever'. 'Iran may not even be able to launch many of those thousands of missiles because a lot of home work has been done by the Israelis on those sites' 'Iran has lot of internal fissures/moles which Israel is going to exploit' 'It was unthinkable just a few months ago that Hezbollah would be damaged like that, the Pagers Attack, the Fall of Assad'. I have paraphrased his words. I think most of those words were spoken in a Glen Diesen interview 2-3 months ago and for those Scott was chewed out. The guy could be a loose cannon but is often right.

All revolves around personal biases.
Mideast was thoroughly secular. Ba'athists and Nasser's Arab Nationalists. All gone! They fought their fight.
Same with Iran... till people revolted! The current paradigm is reactionary, catching up to what they're facing, a messianic cult seeking rapture, end times and return of the Moshiach under a secular rubric.

North Koreans remained monolithic, hermit kingdom, under cult of personality deify Kim dynasty. You think they play smart? I think survival is the first instinct and they saw death... none in Mideast faced those kinds of battles... human waves and deaths of tens of thousands in days.
Thay however is not the topic. I have a very good guess on why the Mollah regime sought to appease west. They needed western approval after the end of shah... one way to do that is to buy your way in... denounce violence and in doing so condemn nuclear weapons for yourself. It was as much a survival instinct as that of Qadafi... who volunteered his arsenal on a silver platter seeing what happened to Saddam and became another example on what not to do... dithering gets you nowhere! It shows weakness... emboldens the hyenas. In this case hyenas just showed up at Iranian doors... knowing full well that they kept their word and didn't go nuclear...

Guess what... if they learned anything... NOW THEY SHOULD!

I think conflict brings out three kinds of people.

1. people who are patriotic and love their country are angry and upset and want to see some action, it hurts a lot when an enemy country attacks your nation, we know the feeling, and we saw the same behaviour from some attacking the armed forces and government with barbed comments and remarks. These remarks are not hateful, they are just angry and venting and want to uphold their national pride.

2. The second kind are those people who relish the humiliation of their nation for some strange twisted reason. (These people could be disillusioned patriots, dissidents, people who no longer feel a connection to their home identity.

3. Indifferent and apathetic: These are the third kind and just sit on their hands waiting for a better day to come.

That would be only rational response now, Iran needs to apply some pressure to the gulf minions too before they transfer into fully war mode.
 
We need more people who love avenging the death of their countrymen so Iranians take this seriously. Vengeance is sweet, when we see many of the enemy's military commanders are dead too in response to them doing it to us first. "Nothing is more sweeter than revenge".

And I am saying its a huge loss and humiliation that a enemy taken out your top military leadership, Again relics or old or corrupt or incompetent it don't matter, your enemy enter your borders and killed them, rather than saying things like they were relics old etc Iran should focus on its response, if you say things like that it comes off as you are trying to downplay the damage, which military in the world has lost top 3 military leaders by the hands of enemy in first attack?

You say Israel take out many Iranian Generals but what have you guys done? any commanders you took out? or is this just one sided? they also kill your experience top scientists, I think it is time for Iran to come out of this mentality, whether it has the power and will to inflict similar damage to Israel or if not than the best course of action is too look for peace.

There is no time for talking or complaining to the UNSC. Fight like a man, Iran! Even if you have to go down, at least go down with honor, not trying to seek a way out like f##kin cowards! If we don't fight evil, then evil will be emboldened to do as they please and that time it will not be Iran but other countries.
