To those questioning why Pakistan is not with Iran, it’s important to recall the broader context.
Iran, alongside India, has played a significant role in efforts to destabilize Pakistan over the years. Despite Pakistan extending diplomatic gestures and seeking peaceful coexistence, Iran has repeatedly responded with hostility, including direct missile attacks on Balochistan, which cannot simply be forgotten or overlooked.
Much of the turmoil Iran faces today is of its own making. Rather than focusing on internal stability and development, Tehran chose to invest in proxy networks to interfere in the affairs of its neighbors. This strategy has led to isolation and blowback. For too long, Iran operated under the illusion of invulnerability, ignoring the shifting dynamics around it.
Ignoring facts does not change them. Regional security requires responsibility---not just rhetoric.
