"International space station" without China...
![]()
That's my point. Other nations have moved on from solo to the US lead International Space Station while China is just doing solo now.
By the time China orbits a Chinese lead International Space Station around the earth, the USA will be orbiting their station around the moon.
SpaceX is getting some advice from NASA to investigate the possibility of converting its huge new Starship vehicle into an orbital destination.
If the idea comes to fruition, Starship could offer a wide variety of accommodations for on-orbit research and commercialization.
After the 2030s, the ISS will be debited and only Chinese Space Station will remain for a decade until US decide to fund private venture.
US companies like SpaceX don't need the government's help to build things like Space Stations.
They get financial support through the US government contracts for NASA astronauts. They are not building space hotel and charging $25 million per person.
I prefer the base hotel on the far side of the moon to the cramped space of the space station. In 2030, China will start the construction of a lunar base, and then it will be realized. Why not. There are plenty of people with money willing to pay.
Dennis Tito paid $20M for a ride on a Soyuz in 2001.

World's first space tourist books trip to the moon with SpaceX
Dennis Tito, who paid $20 million for a trip to the International Space Station in 2001, has signed a contract with SpaceX for him and his wife to soar 125 miles within the moon.www.dailymail.co.uk
There was an estimate of at least 1000 people who would/could pay.
I think Axiom is charging $20M for a SpaceX Crew Dragon ride.
Chinese space station's living condition is way better than that so called cramped international space stationI prefer the base hotel on the far side of the moon to the cramped space of the space station. In 2030, China will start the construction of a lunar base, and then it will be realized.

How do you know?
You sound like you work for the Chinese space agency.

Are you comparing the whole world with China? and China is a latercomer in space technology, we never denied it. but later coming such as in city subway and high speed railway did stop China becoming the best in the world now, and first comers US and UK the worst.I believe China has sent only around 26 people into space since 2003. China doesn't have much of a track record for manned missions over the last 20 years.
