They did NOT bring it upon themselves---.

They neither had the tech---the resource to build a fighting machine nor they had the power to fight the behemoth---.

Which of the GCC nations do you think could stand up---.

They told us clearly to help them when the Yemen crisis started---but the truth to the fact is that the Pakistani parliament and media dominated by the SHIA community bashed the pakistani military and Nawaz Shareef if they ever thought of sending military to Yemen crisis.

All you guys made fun of the arabs---even though they were telling us that they did not have the ability---rather than helping them---we lambasted them---.

It is because of our Shia community---who has more loyalty to Iran than pakistan---that pakistan---which could have been the most powerful nation of the region now has to keep its head down---.

We would have control of Yemen---with that we could control the red sea---we would have control of GCC---it would let us project power in persian gulf---we would have a position in Oman---which would give us a larger control of the arabian seas and indian ocean---we would have established ourselves in saudia arabia---which would have given us a massive position of power to oversea the issues with the disputed area---.
A multiplke compliment of air battle groups ---naval battale groups---quick deployment forces---armor and artillery for each different region---all at someone else's expense---.

But just to please iranian shias---pakistani shias---.

You're a fairly old member of this forum hence I was not expecting anything such ignorant and distant from reality coming from you.

Even if Pakistan had sent all its army to Yemen and helped conquer it, its status would've been no more than those desi soldiers in East India Company who killed their own folk just to appease the foreign invaders; yet couldn't gain any sort of influence or ranks.

Instead of giving it a narrow-minded/sectarian twist, you should consider the nation's interest as a whole. We already fought US's wars and endured significant loss of life and $ over the years only to be disposed off as a tissue paper. And you're talking about opening one new direct/indirect front on the western border as if India and Afghanistan were not already enough?

There's no free lunch. We would've been getting lots of $ in return had we entered Yemen. But remember, no matter what our role and sacrifices are in our fights for others, we will still be seen and treated as a canon fodder and a security guard.

This is when Hezbollah should saturate idf iron dome… all the more to indicate oct 7th was a mossad operation to pull hezbollah into the conflict and therefore inactivate them for when the actual war with Iran occurs. Right now is when the iron dome is to be oversaturated. Mayne this will occur later as this conflict matures.

To everyone reposting the Defence Minister’s speech—come on. No one, not even in Pakistan, takes him seriously. If it came from DG ISPR, maybe then it’d matter. His statements are vague and unfiltered.

Also, chill with the “Pakistan should do this” takes. We were nearly at war with India just weeks ago. The eastern front is active, and until the Indus Water Treaty is addressed, nothing is resolved. We can’t afford to send a single bolt to Iran, let alone AD systems or jets.

And no, we’re not next. If Israel wanted to hit us, they’ve had the chance in May. But Pakistan isn’t Iran—our air force, EW capabilities, and deterrence are on a different level.

no need to for such detailed analysis. The Defense Minister is merely doing a PR balancing act while Self-styled "Field Marshal" is attending a military parade in the US, the same country that is sponsoring war on Pakistan's neighbor. Now back to topic thread.
