Yes, the ignorance of history is surprising. For a long time, Pakistan was the biggest recipient of US military aid after Israel and the biggest recipient of Saudi aid when both those countries were using Saddam and other proxies to destroy Iran. Even today, Pakistani rulers rely on American ( through the IMF) and GCC largesse to keep their economy running. And then people are surprised that Iran considers Pakistani rulers to be doing the bidding of America and the GCC states and to develop relations with countries like India and Armenia as a hedge.

Nonsense. Despite being a very close Saudi Arabian alliance, Pakistan never supported Iraq against Iran and vice versa. Pakistan didn't even support the rebels against the Assad regime despite close ties with both Turkey and Saudi Arabia. There is a reason the GCC Arabs are not as warm to Pakistan as they used to be: Because Pakistan, despite getting considerable financial help from them, doesn't do their bidding whether against Iraq (2003), or Iran, or Syria, or even Yemen!
As for the Pak-America relations: That's purely commercial / trade. Pakistan's economy is closely tied with the West but when defiance is needed, Pakistan has plenty of time to defy the West.

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A British spy destroyer operating near the Sea of Oman was intercepted and forced to retreat by the Iranian Navy after it was caught attempting to guide Israeli missiles toward Iranian territory.
According to the Public Relations Office of the First Naval District of Iran’s Navy, the destroyer was identified in the northern Indian Ocean late last night.

Honestly too late and too impractical for Iran to develop a fighter aircraft system. Bringing Pakistan into this discussion would not be good comparison at all because Pakistan-India rivalry is old where the Pakistan Air Force has groomed itself over the decades to fight India and really created a topmost class ecosystem of integrated air defense and offense with considerable Chinese help. Iran will be a huge wasting money on fighter jets. If they even manage to fly then would be shot down but most would be neutralized before even flying. Better invest in potent air defense systems and surface to surface missiles to target Israel.

Are you sure that just because we haven’t made a public spectacle of it means we don't have HGVs at our disposal? Also, Pakistan officially declared its MIRV capability in 2017 with a stated range of 2,200 km... do you really think ISPR revealed the full extent of that capability? Or is it more likely that the true range was much more or has quietly improved since then?
