Iran’s foreign minister says Tehran does not want the conflict with Israel to expand to a wider regional war “unless it’s imposed on us.”

Abbas Araghchi added that his country had been ready to continue nuclear negotiations with the US, but that Israel’s strikes on Friday had disrupted those talks and showed Israel’s “opposition to any form of negotiation.”

“It is absolutely clear that the Israeli regime does not want any agreement on the nuclear issue; it does not want negotiations, and it does not want diplomacy,” Araghchi said in a meeting with foreign ambassadors broadcast on state-run media. “The attack on Iran in the midst of nuclear talks clearly demonstrates the Israeli regime’s opposition to any form of negotiation.”

Araghchi said that Iran’s strikes on Israel have targeted both military and economic infrastructure and criticized Israel’s strikes on Iranian petrochemical refineries as risking a broader regional conflict.

We don’t want to expand this war to other countries or the region unless it’s imposed on us,” he said.

US President Donald Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Sunday morning that the US “had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight.” He then warned: “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before.”

But Araghchi was skeptical. “From our perspective, (Israel’s) aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran could not have occurred without the agreement and support of the United States,” he said, claiming Iran had “solid evidence” of US support behind the strikes – though he did not say what the evidence was.

Unfortunately Iranian AD was rather predictably never up to the task and this is a fatal issue without an airforce. This has quickly descended into, barring external involvement, Israels capacity to keep up attacks vs Iran's ability to absorb the blows and still hit back in salvos. The cost has to be much greater still to get Israel to agree to ceasefire any time soon.

The survivabillity and nimbleness of Iranian missile stocks and launchers is now key. Hezbollah seemingly kept holding back, and eventually its capability to hit back got degraded significantly - must dominate escalation ladder with Israel. Interesting to see whether Iran can continue to escalate throughout the coming days, starting tonight.

The Muslim world needs to focus on education, economic development, and hard work.

Iranians can at least stand on one leg because it's one of the last major Islamic civilisations that still maintains a healthy intellectual base, particularly in the STEM fields. Gulf states, which pump billions into universities, try to buy the best researchers from CALTECH, MIT, Cambridge, NUS, etc, but fail hard in scientific output. BC who needs science when you're a western puppet client state?

Unfortunately, one of the biggest causes of suffering across the Muslim world is owed to centuries of technological and intellectual backwardness.

The West is barbaric. But we choose to let them do this to us through our backwardness.

Please learn from this. Educate your children, particularly in STEM.

Our time has not yet come. Work hard in silence.

Use the brain god has given to you. It is an ilsut to God if you don't

They're starting to routinely bomb purely civilian targets, the Arabs took a side and should suffer immensely for it. This isn't a ground war the people can help fight like Iraq was and over time their ability to respond to these attacks will dwindle while the jews will get more weapons from their slaves. The way to make these decadent arabs suffer is to destroy their oil wealth as they value that above all else.
I agree, but our airspace is way too vulnerable right now. Last thing we need is more planes dropping bombs on us

Why? Only those that they saw as the enemy have been targeted in the last quarter of century.

They've not changed this policy.

The new world order. Totalitarian govt all over the world. Mark my words these wretched shits are working towards it. Im not a tin foil hat

At what cost though.. the entire West will come after Pakistan. There has to be some enormous incentive offered for Pakistan to even consider that option.
Free oil and gas from Iran in exchange for mutual military pact and you will be fine. Diplomatic shit talk will evaporate and with free energy sanctions would be meaningless for country size of Pakistan. You are already sanctioned effectively if not formally, you have little to loose but potential enormous gains are in prospect.
Iran is sanctioned like no one else in the world but yet their commodities and products are distributed easily in EU via third parties easily, all you need is thinking out of the imposed box.

we or Israel?

I guess those Iranian leaders that had been saying for a long time that "Israel was weaker than a spider", i think in a sense this war proves them right- Israel started the war, andon its 2nd or 3rd day its already begging US military to join it and fight Iran? that means the war isn't going well for Israel then, and its initial damage to Iran was not as decapitating as it looked initially.
How’s the situation in your alternative dimension?

is there any fatwa in iran that you should tell the enemy before every attack?

In boxing, when Mohamed Ali Clay (Rahimahullah) was knocking out his opponent, he used to tell them "You're going down now". Similarly, our IRGC brothers (may Allah strengthen their hands in this war) are telling the thieving settlers, "You're about to go down now, child killers".

its astonishing that they did not take it seriously. how could they ignore this threat . it was existenial threat for them
Honestly, what could they do? Israel disabled their air defenses for an entire day, and the Iranians have no real air force.

If the French are correct about this, and Pakistan supposedly hadn't stepped in, Iran's air defenses would still be down.
