There is a possibility that India is in cohorts with Israel for regime change in Iran. If the regime changes then there is more to profit from Chabahar than under the current regime as it would then be accessible to the Western powers and takeaway the shine from Gwadar. Also, while Iran's regime has been open for all sorts of bad businesses with India - including housing RAW agents and BLA to destabilize Gwadar - it has not given any support to India on international level against Pakistan.
