Bro no offense but this kind of thinking is what led to Irans weakness in the first place. Iran had the chance to become the most powerful Muslim country in the past decades and they wasted it by putting energy into proxies against other middle eastern muslim nations.

So why is he blocking the purchase of Su-35s and Mi-28? Why he doesn't propose us with S-500? Why is he proposing KSA, a country aligned with the US, S-400s? We are fighting against the same enemy yet no physical cooperation, Iran has to earn a lottery ticket to be able to purchase Russian weapons while Algeria, a country that has nothing to do with Russia, gets Su-35 in not even a year
We don't ask Russia to send troops to Iran to defend us, no one asked for that, we just want to purchase and be delivered as the contracts say
Hopefully Iran will move towards Pakistan and China if they block the deliveries

It's not a choice to pay taxes and you dont know where our individual tax money ends up. Bulk of US budget now goes to pay for Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid and paying the annual $1 trillion interest on the gargantuan national debt.

The reality is we contribute to resupplying Israel as well.
Technically it is a choice. We can go to other countries but I agree with you that it's not that simple
My whole point is, before criticizing others (Arab nations etc) think about the reality of the situation.

Our leadership is unbothered because they, unlike the the rest of world's public opinion, and world leaders, except for a few sane ones, are well aware of our own abilities. We DO NOT want war but now that they've imposed war on us we will fight!
We're not afraid of the US and it's threats, there are capabilities reserved for them and their involvement will not change anything to their benefit.
What the US offered wasn't an equitable deal. It was surrender and surrender would've eventually meant a slow defeat and death. A compromise deal would have been better than war and would've spared people. Iran has ALWAYS avoided war because of this and not because of any fear.
