China's position has been clear for centuries, it does not want to be world police/imperialist global empire. Pakistan is an exception and you should not expect China to protect other countries the way it protects Pakistan.

Honestly, I believe Pakistan stands as the only truly independent power in the Greater Middle East. All other countries have compromised their sovereignty by aligning too closely with the West offering everything from ground troops to airbases. We're fortunate to have China as a strategic partner. Now, we just need to get our act together and focus on strengthening our economy.

You have to understand, we we're hit by a surprise attack with the combined might of the US, UK and Israel......we have to be realistic about our goals. 1. The fact that Israeli regime hasn't faced something akin to the Nuremberg Trials after what they've continued to do in Gaza for the past year and a half is proof that there are no "legal steps" in a world that only believe in power.

2. Just curious btw, since the US has in fact attacked Iran's nuclear program now, are the US naval assets a more legitimate target for the Iranians compared to the US bases located in the ME?
