There's no guarantee even if they reach and penetrate the hardened surfaces.

The way the facility is built at an angle, the explosion would almost certainly be contained to a small portion. The US would need to do dozens of these strikes to succeed in doing g any lasting damage, and they do not have a lot of these bombs in their inventory.

I think the biggest evidence we've seen is that there has been no indication of a collapse of the over land, or tremors resulting from this strike.

It almost certainly failed to achieve it's goals.

It is about Iran vs Israel on the surface, but the grand scheme is China vs the US.

Everyone knows that.

So sometimes the mods need to be a little a bit loose about being involved more of China/US.

Otherwise, we can never explore/understand the true nature of these confrontations, while only focus on the superficial parts.

Ferguson is not entirely wrong. If China takes Taiwan, that will be the beginning of the end of US control of the western pacific.

Taiwan is a China's core interest of Chinese core interests, a Chinese territory both legally and historically. And US ? Taiwan is not US land, not even US's vital interest. If you look that way, any back off of US interests in East Asia or the world means the beginning of the end of US domination. US doesn't own the world as Americans like to think.

Not really. China has no defence treaty with Iran.
Also Iran and China relationship had cooled recently for some reason, so no one expected China to jump in.



Russia claims to be a superpower. It should be able to help an ally who helped it in Ukraine. It sends a very bad message when you can't repay favors.



There are no restrictions against selling oil to China. Any country on the planet will sell oil/gas to China.

Iran is not North Korea, Pakistan, or Vietnam. . . It is not China’s core geo-security interest. And there are no paramilitary alliance obligations.

In fact, Iran's relationship with India is better than Iran's relationship with China. You know Iran gave Chabahar port to India. Why does no one suggest that India should help Iran?
Iran is a big country that thinks very highly of itself. It has always kept a distance from China and has never really gotten closer. Imagine that a person is never very close to you, and often even looks down on you from the bottom of his heart. Isn't it embarrassing that you have to take the initiative to help him? Iran plays a non-leading role in China's oil import structure, and China has diversified supply channels and strategic reserves.

Surrounding Iran has always been about denying Russian access to Oceans in Arab/Persian Gulf and now also China

From China's stand point Iran is a reliable provider of Energy so there is a substantial National Interest for China , not to mention trade routes etc

US thought Israeli would easily handle Iran. All Western nations provided all top weapons for the purpose, but eventually US jumped in. This is more hate against US and Israel in the region and more benefits for Russia and China.
