China’s not going to get into a direct fight with the U.S. It might quietly back Iran in some ways, but overall, China’s more focused on taking the lead economically, not through war or weapons.

I am an astrophysicist and I know for a fact that in Europe alone, there are 12,000 open public observatories where people can go and study space, free of charge, let alone the high tech ones that are all across the globe. Meanwhile there is not a single observatory in any Muslim country. Not a single one in even the richest of gulf states. When I take images of space, its littered with thousands of satellites trails (12,900 total), to the point that we now have to use special software to clean off the satellite trails from images of deep space, meanwhile all Muslim countries combined, have a total of 60 satellites (that they sent through help of others). Its the same in almost every advanced field. That is the state of our affairs.

We collect the tech they have thrown away since 2 Decades and hope to fight them off in wild scenarios. Today a single B2 can come undetected, in all weather conditions and throw 6 Bunker Bursters within 5 feet accuracy, from 50,000 Feet in the air leave, warning us not to fight back or more will come in a similar way. They have already long beaten us by throwing us into greed and internal conflict for decades. Now they are just asserting their rule and we are slowly being slapped back into reality.

Imagining what Iran can do, is good to Cope, but that's abut it. We need a long term, forward looking change in our societies, from here onwards, to move ahead and build real power if we hope to throw off this colonialism. That's about it.

Good post, and most of it applies to India and many other non-Muslim countries as well. Our nations will not get anywhere without doing the hard work of building a very large scientific, engineering and industrial ecosystem.

I have yet to catch up. Was away for the last 5-6 hours.
My first thought it is THE face-saving for all. Nuclear fissile material moved away, personnel moved away. Too early to tell. But tend to agree with your post at this point.

As long as there is China in East Asia, the US will not dare to put ground troops into Iran. As long as the U.S. does not commit ground troops, it is impossible to overthrow the Iranian government by bombing alone.

Only after making the Iranian government feel the pain will they reflect on it and make rational choices later.

If we help the Iranian government now, the Iranians will not thank us, they will thank Allah, they will think that it is Allah who uses divine magic to make the Chinese save them, and that the Chinese are only worthy of being tools to be used by the Iranians.

They will continue to be friends with the Indians, sell China's interests to the Indians, and continue to fantasize about reconciliation with the Americans through India.

China acting like friend while they were buying our oil with discount and by loan and then even doesn't let our merchant to buy anything we want from china , instead forced our merchant to buy some useless everyday stuffs which almost killed our small factories and made thousands of Iranian jobless ...

we are not in mood of being lectured by Chinese ...

Iran's foreign policy was too stupidly paranoid about Pakistan. Hopefully, now they know better.
