That assumes the political will is there for a dash. From what I see there is no indication Iran has developed that backbone. Iran is still desperate for some ceasefire with no preconditions.

If Iran wants to isolate Israel, and corner the US president, it MUST NOT ATTACK ANY US MILITARY BASES DIRECTLY.

Iran should only attack Israel for now... for months..

It should be :

1 - Withdraw from the NPT. Suspend all co-operation with the IAEA. Given there is now, "no nuclear programme as it is all destroyed". There is no need for NPT or IAEA anymore.
2 - Rebuild its capabilities. No need to tell anyone where, how.
3 - Learn to keep their mouths shut.
4 - Don't get tricked and betrayed with "diplomacy" again, or ever.
5 - Continue its operations against Israel.

Russia will not help them. Iran needs to be strategic about this. I pray for them, they are in a very difficult spot, but I will say their Foreign Minister handles himself very well, with the decorum and grace of a true diplomat.
