Do not forget that Israelis have American, UK, France, Jordan and most likely also Saudis trying to shot these missiles down AND then the air defence of Israel which is like 3 stages and yet Iranian missiles went through. I never said Iron Dome is perfect, but living in the real world, which clearly YOU are not, people do not wait for perfection but what works to what extent, in other words, 'Is it good enough for me?' is the question. I do not see any equivalent of Iron Dome from any ME country, do you?

Can you give the calculation of the amount of ordnance dropped on Gaza, compared to amount of ordnance dropped by Iran. Also give a comparison of the area?

Israel has dropped over 70k tons of bombs on Gaza in past two years. Thats why you see entire place reduced to rubble. Iran hasn't even come close to that in past eight days.

Also Iron Dome is just for rockets , not ballistic missiles. Those are intercepted via the Arrow system and US Patriot/THAAD batteries.

Aside from fanboys on both sides no one is shocked or impressed at the outcome.

Iran has a non existent airforce, its best AD system was S-300 which was destroyed by Israel a long time ago. The USAF/USN is overkill for Iran, even irrelevant countries like Qatar or the UAE could've struck Iran.

It's MOP that took the spotlight

Iran has several modern air defense systems, I don't know in what quantities but it does, this should not have happened, it is more than clear that if there is a major American attack, the Iranians will be left without any air defense and the Americans will be able to completely eliminate the SRBM/MRBM threat with air supremacy over Iran.

Folks, I'm going to use another bad and very graphic analogy here. For those still in denial of the potential damage at Fordow, look at it this way:
If I shoot you in the stomach with a .357 Magnum using hollow point bullets, there will be no exit wound. Only a small entry wound.

Iran's nuclear weapon program is a red herring. Had it been a real threat, then Obama admin wouldn't have wasted years and political capital, even against the Saudi, AIPAC and Israeli opposition, to engineer the JCPOA and the Biden admin in its early days trying to revive JCPOA. Iran is more than willing to revive JCPOA and NY Times reported some weeks ago that Trump was offering pretty much the same JCPOA.
The real target is Iran's ballistic missile capabilities. Israel wants a Middle East without any challenger. Total dominance.
