Quality over quantity. This is where the US is unmatched. China can produce all the jets it wants, but the US will retain the qualitative edge for at least a generation to come. The F-22, B-2 etc are all products of the 1970s/1980s and there’s no equivalent system anywhere in the world. Even today, China is incapable of matching the technology of the F-22 & B-2 bombers, technology that’s decades old.

whats so special in both of them? both are stealth as china stealth. maybe they may havge some very good avionics or sensors but with quantity they will be outmatched. Another big issue with USA rather two issue are one they have many legacy system still with them going on be it fighters or in navy and replacing them all will take much much more time and money. Another issue is the cost of production and speed in US is much much larger than china.

I remembered we had just 1 Type 052D destroyer back in 2015, now we have 29 plus 8 Type 055, 37 destroyers in Ten years, we have a bunch of people across the globe believing in US hegemony forever, Chinese are not religious in the first place, so we don't believed in that.

US and China are NEVER fighting a war one on one. They will fight via proxies just like the US and Soviet Union back in the day. The US studies and prepares against near-peer militaries but never goes against them.

Actually they did in 1950s.

Cold war is a very special case instead of a general one, the main reason are the world got tired of wars after WW2 and the nuke bombs, and nowadays one safe (ppl tired of war) is off, and the other (nukes) after vastly down-scaled, is not very reliable.

Hard to have any inferiority complex when we beat you in basically every category of competitions nowadays, it is truly a wins-come-all-day situtation for us to the degree I almost have to resort to watch Chinese football matches to get a cooler mind, LOL.
