Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Why do so many in here think that the US would allow Iran to F israel up more than they already have and not fully intervene? It's true that Israel is vulnerable now with almost no interceptors left, but you need to get superpower backing, a nuke and go then go to round two, that will make sure that the US will not intervene.

we're all desperate to see Israel fall hard, but this is not the way, Iran can't do it alone IMO!
You cant run from a war when it gets imposed on you. The ceasefire is due to Israel getting pounded and their IADS running low on interceptors. Israel had the initiative at start, it was slowly going to Iran's way, now with the ceasefire, it has been given to Israel again.

Watch them come back again with a better plan and much stronger defence. And who is going to help Iran now? It has shown itself to be weak and riddled with western saboteurs and spies. Israel has complete impunity over their skies. They should have atleast knocked out that Intel semiconductor fab ( $ 20 billion + worth ) and some desalination plants.

Simply speaking, there wouldn't be a ceasefire if Israel's prospects right now were looking decent. They are not known for magnanimity and kind of heart. Even Indian channels have noted the Genghis Khan style barbarity in Gaza in the last 18 months.
Let the dust over Israel literally settle down and watch the damage and remember that that is a small country of very pampered people.

If this ceasefire agreement is real and holds it's going to have a snowball effect with Palestinians, Lebanon and two state solution being worked out. Abraham accords will be strengthen with more nations added.

This is going to elevate Orange man (dangerously in my opinion) and.... well don't want to go off topic.

Israel’s "right to exist" is a colonial fiction imposed by force.
Pakistan was carved out of what...??? And why...???

Iran’s rhetoric is irrelevant;
Then do not act on it...

But if Iran chose to act, and they did, then what Iran said about Israel's right to exist is relevant -- to the Israelis and their allies.

The Soviets fell, but empires always do. And one day, so will this one. Till then, enjoy it.
We will...And am enjoying it with a nice shot of Knob Creek bourbon.

now the only question is if IRGC will fire some missiles before the ceasefire or just absorb these blows

Hezbollah did not fire missiles before the ceasefire and absorbed the blows

so far IRGC has fought very similar to Hezbollah (but worse in many ways)
Actually Israel and Hezbollah did exchange considerable rocket and drone blows before the ceasefire went into effect. But IRGC has performed farworse than Hezbollah. Houthis need to send trainers to Iran after this war.

It may not be about what the US is militarily capable of as much as the fact that there is overwhelming American public opposition to the US getting into another war. Without significant direct US involvement, Israel and Iran will just keep grinding away at each other and both countries have a lot to lose, Israel (Netanyahu’s political career for one) more-so than Iran.
Trump doesn't care - he's backed by the Zionists, and it's his second term. He won't launch a land invasion; he'll just eviscerate Iran with a bombing campaign and cripple Iranian society. The U.S. is a hegemon—they can do whatever they want.

Ceasefire arranged by Vance, Rubio and Witcoff direct and indirect negotiations with Iran.....

"US President Donald Trump arranged an Israel-Iran ceasefire during a call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday afternoon, a senior White House official tells Reuters.

US Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff held direct and indirect calls with Iran to broker the ceasefire, the official says.

Israel agreed to the ceasefire so long as Iran refrains from launching further attacks, and Iran has signaled it will not carry out more strikes, the official says."
