Mr. Chimpnejad himself is a known agent. He deliberately politicised Iranian nuclear program at international level by opening his mouth over it. Nobody cared what Mullah run Iran was doing before that but as soon as Chimpnejad intentionally opened his little mouth against Israel, Khamenei opened the program for talks and IAEA. Its almost like they did it on purpose during the height of Iraqi invasion by US.

Ahmadinejad is known for outrageous statements - to say the least, but, what do I know. It could be true, but that's not enough to steer an entire nations policy for 40 years.

A few days ago I was telling someone that it would require divine intervention for Iran to get out of this intact. I was sure that Netanyahu wanted to destroy Iran completely, including its military and civilian infrastructure. I’m sure that’s what he wanted. However, it’s a good thing that Trump wasn’t totally in his control and was trying to balance Netanyahu’s demands with those of his own voters.

So, Iran gets to live to fight another day. It shouldn’t waste any time in fixing its weaknesses before US/Israel come after it again.

It could also be the Israel agreed to the ceasefire to have Carte Blanche to complete the genocide in Gaza.
