we already paid for Su35 as high end 4.5 gen fighters ( although with PESA , those are useless ) , for low end JF17 B3 would be wise choice, we need at least 120-150 of these to completely retire (F5s , F7s , Mig 21/23 , Su 22 , Mirage F1 )

Iran may have lost tactically, but it’s Israel and the U.S. that lost on the strategic level. The groups inside Iran, the ex greens, the MEK, PJAK, Amal shits etc that got ammo from Israel wont stop their shit even if Israelis do because they know whats coming for them after ceasefire.

Dear Iranian cousins who stood firm and fought with the most honourable of intentions, giving their lives in defence of their homeland and for freedom, my personal opinion is that the tit-for-tat material damage done will largely be repaired or renewed on both sides.

Beyond that, the conflict has had some positive outcomes - Israeli and right wing Christian Zionist mythology has been crushed. These people are not invincible in the slightest. They have several powerful tools at their disposal, but are not immune to justice.

Iran has also demonstrated a ferocious ability to stand independently. Nobody actually helped them in any significant way. Pakistan simply couldn't. Iranian proxies had already been neutered. Russia may as well have been non-existent.

This was Israel's best possible time to strike but it failed its main objective of regime collapse.

I would still argue though, despite all that, if the terms of this ceasefire somehow allow Israel or USA to conduct raids at their pleasure, then the final outcome is a loss for Iran - I hope the reports are indeed false that any such dispensation exists.

Now, Iran must make some serious decisions that will aid its survival and rejuvenation. This starts with the purging of hostile nations from its national interest - the role of India should not be ignored in this regard. Whatever was going on in your minds regarding ancient ties is mere obfuscation of ground realities. None of your ancient history matters one jot. Indeed, Pakistanis are also mostly of Iranic descent - we could equally use this as some narrative. The English and the Germans are near identical but that didn't stop them slaughtering each other. Give up the cultural ties hasbara once and for all.

I see absolutely no future for Delhi in Iran's national consciousness after today, neither functionally, nor on a "transactional" basis. A decisive tilt towards the Sino-Pak axis is long overdue. Hopefully the leadership have figured this out.

I just read a post by one, proclaiming the coming reckoning of all those working for Mossad, Kurds, Afghans, MEK...yet no mention of their beloved jeets...

Irani establishment is still operating on the notion that Indians for all their faults are to be kept closer and Pakistanis at arm's length...

I hope they've seen the light wrt Indians, but I highly doubt it...Iran had cultivated an affinity and alliance with the indians for the past forty odd years soon after the revolution, it isn't going to dismantle that just because a few jeets were caught working for Mossad.
