Nope, drop tanks - they carry fuel and extend the aircraft's operational range. Are these Taimoor mounted on the JF-17?
Sorry for asking this again for example we have Mashallah above 200 JF 17 Overall but the engine and spare from Russia but US has sanction there defense industry. Just asking i we face spare part issue in long run or it wont be any issue as China has taken care of this issue?

Mastan Bhai, on the contrary, after the two recent conflicts, one thing is clear — cannons have become more important than ever, especially when it comes to dealing with drones. With the increasing use of cheap, disposable UAVs, it just doesn’t make sense for the PAF to waste its expensive air-to-air missiles (AAMs) on them. Jf-17s are the only aircraft that are gonna be up in large numbers and their 23mm cannons would be really cost effective in taking out drones.Hi,
We should leave it to the less capable aircraft.
The capabilitity that the BLK 3 has shown---using it for ground strikes makes it vulnerable to enemy SA missiles---thus losing the technology.
The canon is just a wastage of space on the aesa equipped BLK3---.

JF-17 destroyed s-400 radar .Does the JF-17 have a confirmed kill of aircraft ? J10 seems to have stolen all the glory in May 2025 war.
