Iranian military fights like rebels rather than a professional military. That's what I've observed from their latest conflict with Zion/US.

Where does that massive Saudi defence budget of around $80 billion a year go? They have no nuclear weapons program, no ballistic missiles arsenal and I don't know know whether they even have a navy.

Totally agree boggles the mind. Pakistan could build a whole new second military with that.

Algeria was a shock to me when I checked there army and navy. 21 billion dollars military budget. Algeria is stealth army no one knows much about it until you check it.

For me military power as in long term sustainable power must always factor in
Technology capability
Economic might for sustained war fighting and modernisation and adaptability ...

Ie why are USA and china super powers because their military numbers are matched by financial power and technology capability

Saudi as enormous financial muscle
Turkey has technology edge over all moslem.nations
Yes Pakistan has numbers and nukes and experience and training too

I would argue turkey and Pakistan are similar in technology

We have shown Electronic Warfare capabilities in the recent skirmish, and they worked very nicely disabling drones and might have even jammed brahmos too.
 
While having nuclear weapons is certainly an advantage, it's also a clear truth that they hold no value in traditional warfare. Ukraine is terrorising Russia, and Moscow has sacrificed an entire generation on the Ukrainian front, yet nuclear arms have had no impact whatsoever.

When it comes to missile technology, tge Turks simply did not prioritize developing long-range ballistic missiles, although the technology exists. I mean, Ankara is gearing up to send satellites into orbit, which leads me to believe that the technological gap between Iran and Türkiye is likely very small or even non-existent.

BTW, Türkiye's decision to invest heavily in missiles was made long before the ongoing Iranian-Israeli conflict. You need this tech to development effective AD systems.

The challenges facing Türkiye are not military or technological; they are fundamentally political.

I don't think any country in the Middle East or Europe—whether it's France, the UK, Russia, Israel, Iran, or Saudi Arabia—would openly confront or risk engaging in war with us but I'm not sure if I can say the same about Pakistan even though the country has nukes.

I feel secure in Türkiye. This is a huge privilege and I'm aware of this. In some ways Türkiye is even safer than Europe. Crazy times.

Which is a shame, because Indonesia has a comparable population to Pakistan, is a lot more politically stable, has an economy 3 to 4 times the size, yet only has an army that's okay at best.

Even its next gen fighter purchase is a joke, because they keep saying they'll signing deals and MoUs that they break a week after they've signed them.
