Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

I really don't want to get into the Azerbaijan-Armenia rivalry on a personal level.
I have nothing against the people of either country and I'm not going to take sides on the historical differences of each nation. I know that Armenians as an independent nation have existed before the Hellenic empire of Alexander the Great. They had the Kingdom of Armenia. But again, it's none of my business.

On a national level, let's say that Armenia currently serves and respects our national interests significantly more than the Republic of Azerbaijan who publicly makes statements on our national integrity and holds strong military ties with our archfoe (Israel) whose Prime Minister has said on numerous occasions that Iran has to be dissolved.

Both countries share extensive linguistic and genetic similarities with Iranians (even religious similarities with Azerbaijan) but Azerbaijan finds herself closer to Turkey than Iran for linguistic reasons and has alienated herself from Iran under Aliyev. Armenia, on the other hand, has no choice but maintain amicable relations with Iran and it's easier to trust them in this case.

There is zero continuity between those Armenian kingdoms and modern-day Armenia state, and Armenia exists as a result of direct actions of Russian Empire in 1800s. You claimed that Azerbaijan was a “fake country” because Russians conquered it from Qajars, yet that applies even more in case of Armenia. There were Azerbaijani Khanates, there was no Armenian political entity.

But this is nonsense talk, Azerbaijan gained independence 2 times, first in 1918 and second in 1991, both times from Russia. Iran is not even in the picture, if it was up to someone to say such a thing, it would have to be Russia, but that would also not be true.

Just fyi, Azerbaijanis do have genetic similarity with Anatolian Turks. Azerbaijani Turk are in fact closer to someone from Western Turkey than they are to someone from Gilak or Mazandaran or Baloch. They are between a Western Turk and Central Iran if you were to put it in some kind of genetic distance, but closest to South/Central Anatolia (after Qashqais). Combine this with linguistic similarity (most important) and I don’t see why Azerbaijani Turks should not feel close to Anatolian Turks.

I know a person that will discuss this to the end of the world with you.

I hereby summon @Emirzad

Discuss what? Azerbaijan gained independence from Russian Empire and Soviet Union, not Iran.

Azerbaijani Turks are in fact similar to Anatolian Turks genetically, and vice versa. But they also have similarity to certain Iranian groups, however, still closest to Qashqais and south-central Anatolia (west and central Iran comes after this, then followed by Western Turkey, and then North Caucasus in last place). This is because there was a huge settlement of Qizilbash tribes from Anatolia under Safavids.

Armenians are not genetically similar to neither Iranians, nor Azerbaijanis btw.

He obviously disagrees with you and he's much better informed about the haplogroups of Azeri people than I am. @Emirzad is also an Azeri himself.

My favorite subject here is nuclear stuff. I enjoy the type of conversation I am having with @SABRE. I don't want to discuss haplogroups or genealogy.

There are results of people posted in groups called Turkishdna and Azerbaijandna groups, they are the largest data collected from various regions. It disproves the myth that Turks are close to Greeks, for example.

I’m not at all interested in it, I dig up because you brought it up. And if you read again, Azerbaijani Turks have similarity to both Anatolian Turks and certain Iranian groups. There are also regional variances.

What a bunch of nonsense. Azeris both in Iran and the weird country are genetically closer to Persians and even Kurds than to Anatolians. There are numerous studies conducted on this topic that proves this claim.

No, I didn't. I didn't bring up the genealogy of Azeri or Armenian people. I said both had linguistic and genetic similarities with us Iranians, which is hardly deniable. I didn't say they were closer to us than Anatolian Turks. You're fishing for trouble, constantly going off-topic, touching on sensitive topics on purpose.

But if you do wish to discuss the genealogy of Azeri people, @Emirzad is quite informed on the matter and I'm sure he will be more than happy to discuss this with you on a different thread to a great extent and very fine details. I, personally, am not here to discuss that and have literally no interest in this subject whatsoever.

Studies from Iranian universities, with some Armenians thrown in for good measure. And also same studies who claim Anatolian Turks are close to Greeks?

There are lots of data from Turkishdna and Azerbaijandna, much more than the “studies” you refer to.

Did you look at the link I posted?

This is what you wrote:

The problem is that we believe Turkey's public stances and intentions do not really match. Therefore, it is hard to take your words for granted. Turkey has been constantly violating the sovereignty of Iraq in recent years. So, it's hard to believe that Turkey did not want Iraq to fall.

*** The AN/TPY-2 radar is definitely aimed at Iran's ballistic missiles as part of the early-warning system for THAAD. You do not have the full THAAD system to use it for your own protection, so it is obvious who is benefiting from this.

In contrast to Iran, Turkey has violated the Iraqi sovereignty by establishing military bases in the northern territory of Iraq. You are an invading force in Iraq, in violation of international law.

You destroyed Syria by supporting a NATO-instigated civil war that had no purpose but to install an Israel-friendly regime and we are already seeing this as we speak today. Unfortunately, the Syrians do not see this now because of their hatred for the previous Syrian regime who was admittedly unpopular. They had tried the Assads and they wanted a fresh start. Something that gives them hope about the future, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they are right. People get played all the time, unfortunately. It's all to be seen and time will tell.

Syrian airspace was in no way used to attack or kill our citizens, but good to see that you are happy about Iranian civilians getting killed. You've been exposed. But I do agree that what goes around, comes around. And Turkey may very soon taste this firsthand. Again, time will tell.

No, we have brought this upon ourselves by supporting the Palestinian cause, unlike you who pretend to support the Palestinian cause while behind the scenes you facilitate the Israeli plans for the new Middle East.
I am not pleased about the deaths of Iranians. Please don't misrepresent my words. It is not beneficial for us if Iran were to fall apart.

How can you engage in a discussion with someone who refuses to acknowledge the truth?

Radar information is shared with Türkiye because our air defense is partially integrated with European defense systems. This is a fact.

Why is that? Because no one in Türkiye and the region has faith in Iran. This is your flaw you refuse to accept. This is a fact.

Israel is utilizing Syrian airspace to launch attacks on Iran. This is a fact.

Your cherished Assad ignored your advice at the end of the war when you urged him to consider Türkiye's interests; instead, he opted for Russia. This is a fact.

He also disregarded Turkish help at the onset of the Civil War. This is another fact.

You support Muslim-hating Armenia against fellow Shia Azerbaijan.
You support Marxist ethno terrorists like PKK against fellow Muslim Türkiye.
You attack neighboring Islamic Republic Pakistan because of BLF terror.
You sign trade contracts with Hindutva racists while they're actively attacking your fellow Muslims in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
You undermine Iraq's sovereignty and nationhood with all the proxies that are on your payroll.
You cowardly attack Qatar instead of UAE because you aim at the weak.
You cooperated with NATO during the US-led invasion of Afghanistan.
Do you want me to stop? Do you think that educated Muslims in the Middle East don't see this?

In short:
Iran needs to make a 180° in her foreign policy. If you cannot accept this, you and your nation are definitely lost.

We have exchanged views. Have a nice evening. Bye.

I could be wrong here, but I don’t think Harvard, Sanger, Cambridge, Max Planck or Tartu are Iranian universities.

And that somehow gave you the idea that I was talking about genealogy? I don't see the relevance.
