We find india's billionaire 'total' at $950bn is means for more than Chinese total $1340bn.
India is more a "home demand" based economy than other Asian tigers. We see the 'Khalifa' of ASEAN, the Indonesia, match this moral of India, whose growth is also less driven by export 🕳️

Indian growth story is without signing NPT, which again make a difference from other "home demand" based growing economies 👍

Just see the map and look like there is no billioners (USD) in both Pakistan and BD

It is also surprising to see tiny Singapore with 1/ 3 Indonesian nominal GDP ( could be 1/ 6 or 1/8 Indonesian economy for PPP calculation) but having more billionares than Indonesia.

@Fatman17

The credibility of these private industries, led by these billionaires is very less as compared to the government industries in a non-western countries including Pakistan.
The government industries are considered much more worth having them, as compared to show the 'bluffs' of having billionaires in any country and related publicity of their private industries 👎

Our industries were nationalised by the leader of PPP ZA Bhutto in the 70s. Hence the anomalies

Pakistan and BD both have many billionaires. They are thieves and politicians, it's just that they wealth is ill gotten and undeclared.

It's surprising that two 400 billion USD GDP countries don't have a single Billionaire.

India with 4 trillion USD economy has 205 Billionaires, I was expecting atleast 10 from Bangladesh and Pakistan

There are billionaires in BD and PK. I just don't know having many billionaires in a country is a good or bad thing.

The data is inaccurate. There are many billionaires in Pakistan.

Also who believes there are <21 billionaires in Saudi?!

Good day gentlemen.
We discussed post#2, of this thread, mentioning Indian billionaire 'total' at $950bn as compared to the Chinese 'total' of their billionaire at hardly $1,340bn. Here, We don't see that big gap between India and china as compared to the pictures @Beijingwalker type Chinese post on different forums..

While we find PPP value, Purchasing Power Piraty, measure the US's billionaire 'total', bringing the US to the 'peon' level of India and China....🙂

The 'total' represents how big private industries these billionaires as whole, run businesses in their respective countries 🕳️

If I moved to Uzbekistan I can become a billionaire overnight 🤪

Indian population is exceeding 1.2 billion.
I guess there is nothing left to export as the local industries are working hard to meet such a huge local demand. Infact perhaps importing to fulfill the shortage.

India-russia are more a war economies since Cold War time. richness of India is based on the fact that it didn't signed NPT, concentrating on home demand based growth only since 80s.
But import was allowed to maintain a reasonable lavel of currency, to maintain its tough time fitness for "no-trade" with West in future. Means, if we face sanctions, then we will mainly register decline in India's trade deficit 👍

China's total wealth is 63.83 trillion dollars and India's is 12.61 trillion dollars. China is 510% of India.

If there is not much difference between the total wealth of rich Chinese and rich Indians. This means that the gap between the rich and the poor in India is already very serious.

There is a "digesting" power of wealth comparison of different countries also. And we find home demand based growth of India since 50s make it among those countries who find it easier to digest their wealth 👍
