Well modern age , an invasion starts at the Coastal Lines , so having a robust Force in charge of protecting the Sea is important

40,000 Soldier force seems reasonable for Coastal Cities

Main Task

• Protect the Coast
• Protect the Trade centre CPEC

Secondary Task

• Operations at Sea Land on Ships and perform operations
• Deploy Troops to Near by Country (Basic training for Marines)

Pakistan's Seat Coastal Area is 700-800km so that is a massive land to cover

The Force should be sufficient to protect vital Coastal Zones

So 10,000 Soldiers can even get advance training for Sea based deployment to near by Cities in Time of Need

Why? They are naval infantry which serves a very distinct purpose. They are deployed in a defensive/holding role in areas where a traditional infantry unit would be hard-pressed to do the job. They have equipment for operations in shallow, creeks areas. What more do you want? Pakistan does not have an expeditionary force so why bother with large amphibious platforms? The hovercrafts move large # of troops and equipment to the shallow areas quickly which is what you want.

I think we we need to enhance capabilities to land in Oman , Yamen , and Saudi or UAE or Iran or Kuwait or Iraq

Need to develop capability does not mean we had bad intention but we need the capability to defend by being in offensive mode

As a Marine force , without having "Ability" to act in offensive manner just means you will have limitation for Operations

• Mitral Helicopter Carrier would be a nice addition , armed with Drones and Helicopters to enhance the Marine force

Maintaining , 3,000-5,000 troops is not ambitious enough
Seems a bit under manned for Coastal Defence

Pakistan Marines strength should be increased to 40,000 Soldiers

20,000 Soldiers for Karachi
20,000 Soldiers for Gwadar

Having a Helicopter Carriers with 10 Helicopters should be a good asset to aim for in future, and ability to launch Marine Assault Ships

Egypt have a Helicopter Carrier
Turkey also have a program for Helicopter Carrier

lol no, a small well equipped and well trained strike force is better than a large force with no good equip. and training.

Although I do agree enough helicopters should be on standby just to cater Marines for their Time Sensitive Targets

Well 400-1000 soldiers is strength of mercenaries that often operate on border or reside in remote area in other countries, supported by rouge elements from foreign sources

In order to have a force which can actively engage stuff on foreign soil you need a force of 50,000 Units just for that purpose

It's time to adjust the Doctrine

We should have a force of 10,000 Soldiers able to engage on foreign soil
40,000 Looking after the Coastal Zones Protecting Major coastal cities

It's something Pakistan should start thinking about

Foreign deployment to where and on what? How many Amphibious assault ships do we operate again? How many bases do we have abroad?

It's something Pakistan should start thinking about

Force Reconnaissance are specialized shock troops tasked to go deep behind enemy lines. They're not border force or glamorized base security.
In 2003 a company of Marine Force Reconnaissance beat the entire ground assault to Baghdad. They were knee deep in enemy territory.

A small nimble force with specialized tools are tradecraft > Large Assault Element

Well obviously 10,000 to move forward into Foreign Land and 40,000 Back up based around costal city for Further Deployment or City Coast protection

Should get Helicopter for moving 10,000 Troops and 10 Helicopter Gunship

Their name should be changed from Pakistan Marines to Pakistan coastal guards. This is the appropriate name for them.
