It’s actually in Pakistans favor that “semi-official” rumors of them acquiring J35 keep floating about. It’s a pressure tactic. There’s a history of knee-jerk reactions from both sides (Pakistan and India) of buying whatever weapon is available to counter the other and later realizing it was just rumors or the fear was overblown. This is mostly why we don’t see any official rejection of the J35 claims either. Pakistan will probably get J35 eventually, they don’t really have many other options if they want to beat India to 5th Gen induction - and while there is genuine PAF interest and likely even training going on with the platform, the scope is unlikely to be anywhere as big as online echo-chambers make it out to be. There’s always three sides to the story and the truth is somewhere in between. The PAF is probably just in the process of doing as much homework as it can so if the platform even needs to be inducted it can be done very quickly - as seen with the J-10C.As explained by others: No-one in the Pakistani leadership said thsi and even more so NEVER with a specific date … and now we have the confirmation NOT EVEN A DEAL IS SIGNED by the former Air Commodore and the denials by the current Defence Minister and still you stick to what fan-boys say?
I slowly think this Constantin ignorace of facts and sticking to hopes is no longer ridicolous or even pathetic, but pathological!!
For others - The Pakistani defense minister is an idiot - everything he’s said and done over the Pakistan-India and Israel-Iran conflict has been a detriment to Pakistans’ global stance and has resulted in a clean up OP by fed up foreign ministry officials. He only has that role because it’s an empty chair. Don’t take anything he says seriously.
