Yerevan’s Stance On Azeri Corridor ‘Unchanged’
Armenia continues to reject Azerbaijan’s demands to open a land corridor to its Nakhichevan exclave after Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian’s June 20 visit to Turkey, a senior official in Yerevan said on Thursday.

I don't understand the Armenian position on this. They really seem to want another war.
I don't think there will be a war, I was hearing they were close to a deal after Pashinyan visited Turkey.

This was a week ago and the talks had a break thru few days ago. Armenia has allied itself with Turkey. The Zangizur corridor is secured with Armenia´s blessing which is why Russia got some how pissed and Iran to some extent it was solely about the deal but now they have come to terms with it and cooled down especially Russia it was just the initial shock of losing Armenia. Turkish sources didn't confirm this rumour.

There is speculation that Azerbaijan and Türkiye are considering the inclusion of a US company to oversee the trnasit of goods in this new corridor, ensuring that a new government in Armenia, which may turn anti-Turkish or anti-Azeri, does not interfere with the agreement. Bascially, they try to up the stakes for Eriwan.

I don't like the idea of any extraregional actor other than maybe a neutral actor like a swiss company operating in the caucasus. Its going to be a direct challenge to the 3+3 format for caucasus affairs.
